It seems there is a misperception on how the event works. So i'll try to break it down as detailed as possible.

Answers to frequently asked questions:

- This event has nothing to do with clans. You are not creating a clan, you are creating a SF Event Team.

- The SF Event Team may only be created by an exisiting SF player. Meaning, if you are currently active in Soldier Front, you can create the SF Event Team. You must be higher than http://images.ijjimax.com/v2/arcade/sf/sf_rank_01.gif"trainee" Rank.

- ONLY NEW ijji.com/Soldier Front members may join your team. You can not ask someone who is already playing Soldier Front. That person must be new to ijji.com and a http://images.ijjimax.com/v2/arcade/sf/sf_rank_01.gif"trainee" rank in Soldier Front to join your team. Therefore, i'm deleting all threads asking members here to join. That's not the point of this event :)

- If your team wins the prize, you will also get the prize. Not just the trainees.

- Don't worry about Event 2, 3, 4 yet...

- Once you qualify for a higher prize group, you will no longer qualify for the lower prize group. EX., if you qualify for group C prizes, you can not win prizes for group A or B.

- Each member of your SF Event Team does not have to be the exact rank. As long as they meet the qualifying rank. So if 1 person is Staff Sergeant, 3 are Corporal, 1 is Private, your group only qualifies for Group A prizes.

Here's an example of how this recruit event works:

I highly doubt many people will get prizes.

So here's one to discuss.

I have a friend, he plays poochblocks and wants other games to come out but never ever tried GunZ, Gunbound, or SF. So I convinced him to play SF, you can see that his ijji account is only a few weeks old [As that's when I refered him] but his SF account is new as of yesterday [As he played his first SF game yesterday].

Think this DQ's me? I don't think so because you can see he made his SF and such just yesterday. *Shrugs* Anyway I don't care too much. Sounds like a lot of people will be DQed.

GM_SKiNG 1 week into the tournament can you give a list of people who are still Qualified? Like just name the leaders of each section, I'd be curious like the "Weeks Update."

I know you'll probably get flammed a bunch for doing this or something, but it would let those know if they are even elgible, I'd be happy to help with a section where you post to ask why you got DQed and I'd help with explaining the different parts of the rules, as I feel I've got quite a handle on them now.


Anyway that suggestion and if the "Codename" is new as of April 10th/11th or something are they ok, even if the IJJI.com account is old? That might clairfy a few things for some people.


As far as others go, my understanding is you yourself don't have to be a trainee to start a clan actually it says you have to be a higher rank then that >.> Which I'm not I started one, just means I have to actually work instead of manage a team. Regardless I'll have my correct rank tonighta anyway so I'd just restart the team >.> Those joining MUST BE TRAINEE, the idea is to REFER PEOPLE. It's advertisement if you haven't gotten that yet :) And a smart one with benefits for the advertisers. Too bad I didn't wait until later to do this with some people XD Already refered 10+ people to ijji around my school.

These answers are to the best of my knowledge...

1. All recruited friends need to be a trainee rank when they join your team. For a prize category, all 4 recruits must pass that rank.

2. No way for YOU to...I PM'd a CSR about a user (who is violating ToS) that "randomly" joined my team and was told to report it to HelpDesk...so I hope this is cleared up and I get a chance at this or this event is a little screwy. So I've yet to see if anything can be done, I doubt help-desk prioritizes submissions.

3. You should not need to let anyone know. If you did need to, then it would of been mentioned.

4. I bet it is random from the qualifiers.

You start by leveling up. To complete the event, all four members (five if you're also a trainee) must rank up to the specified ranks per mission.

The Ijji service is directed towards the NA community. People who live in other countries play this game as a byproduct. It's natural that NASF should focus on their main base of customers first, outsiders second.

Read their ToS about prizes. You agreed to it when you signed up XD, funny how no one reads this stuff. It's always good to look it over, I agree right away but then I read it later when I have time. Mmm you'll find interesting stuff, you know there's an age requirement for winning prizes too right? XD

Read the TOS and plus, some of the stuff would be extremely expensive to ship, and knowing teams will consist of 4 - 5 [As you and three have to sign up it looks like to qualify] 4 - 5 items overseas even to like the UK which isn't too hard to send to is expensive. Anyway you get the grace of getting to play ijji.com games, just be thankful ijji.com does not IP block those outside the USA like some services xD

On this note all I did is tell all my CS playing friends about SF XD, It's actually more hilarious to watch them play it then actually playing it myself. He's like "SF, pfft, I'm too pro! Watch!" and he kills a bunch of people then he dies and he's like freaking out "Ahhh *Screaming* that was lag!? You see that? I Headshotted that guy!? Pfft I'm gonna pwn these noobs!" And it's funny 'cause he'll play SF for like 1 - 2 hours straight then when he was gonna play like 2 games every so often XD. Freakin hilarious. :lolz:

1,000 SF players, The event begins.

The idea is that those 1,000 because they are part of ijji would make 1,000 teams. TO qualify for prizes it lookes like you need to invite 3 - 4 people.

So there should be an influx of 3,000 - 4,000 users because each 1,000 is supposed to invite 3 - 4 people who DON'T or haven't played SF.

Report hacks, I believe there is a system in doing so. And in doing so I believe that the team may get DQed, or the team leader may be warned or something. SKiNG I'm sure would take action properly.

(which is mainly why he came to play) Well i told him about joining my team before he goes out to play, but since he said imma tryout the game first, so i let him. Then he comes back fully ranked just the rank after trainee. Now, Can he still join my team? If not, can he create a new account or soldier (however it works) so he can join?

Another question, i really didnt get the clear rank stuff. Does it mean that to get the laptop, The whole team has to Rank up to Sergeant First Class to get the laptop, or does it mean that just to rank up to staff sergeant?

You cannot join a team unless you are a trainee. In your case, I would say your friend can still join because he was introduced to SF by out.

As for the second part, to get the latop, your WHOLE team has to qualify for group C, which means all of the members in your team has to rank up to at least a staff sergeant. If even one of you fails to meet the qualifications, then nope, no laptop for you >_>.

1. the GM's didn't specify, but I would still recommend getting 4 people, it doesn't hurt to be in the safe zone. They might give first choice to the 5-people groups because they have one extra person.
2.I don't think IP matters unless they announce that. If that happens, just PM a CSR or GM
3.Yes, they will because as long as they never played SF before and you introduced them, that counts as bringing in a new member. Chances are they won't check the date unless they openly announce that.

i dont think it matters if you have the same ip because it be the same in internet cafes..there aint LAN games for SF and there is only internet. So if you play SF in an internet cafe with other people playing SF, there shoulnt be a problem..Even if they really block you, it be there fault because it might have mistake it for an internet cafe or some huge group of people...They are to be blamed if they make ip address mistakes..

Sorry, forgot about this thread. And yes, you can play in one roof. If your brother is new, then it still counts. If the GM's announces they're checking by IP address, just PM one of them and explain your situation.
