Dagger needs a boost?

Personally, i think its a little rediculouse that the sword can block, speed doesnt matter, has longer reach, and has better damage. Dagger.. can dodge oh, and weights less....

maby a damage boost.. blocking, or maby an ambush effect were it lets you do double damage if you hit in the back.

You should make this a suggestion to MAIET.
Both dagger and kodachi melee weapons have a disadvantage to swords, since swords are indeed imbalanced.

Daggers do need a boost.

personally I think a quick way to make daggers balanced would to simply allow them to bug like swords.

This would destroy the precious art of d-style. But it would make it balanced. I would give up block for the extremely light weightness of a dagger depending on my item set up.

Kodachis need a damage boost to make them balanced for their weight.

If maiet did this, the current d-stylers may complain but I think it would make all the melee weapons in the game pretty balanced.

daggers just seem easier to shoot with and move with for me and yes i can use kstyle i just hate it <__>
could make the lunge pierce the enemy and drain some of their hp or something cool like that though

or just a general speed boost
but either way im happy with my dagger a little more power to it would just make a lot more kstylers cry

I love my dagger! And I love hearing cries of 'OMG DAGGER n00B!' as my opponents die before me! Nothing need be changed. Although, I really WOULD like to see a broken beer bottle...

Realistically, a sword has more attack power than a dagger does.

And also, daggers don't really need a boost... Right click with a dagger, if you successfully hit, the persons on the ground.
As for the sword, a person has time to hit Space and react back.

If you don't plan to click the right button on people, then use a sword for your last resort. Or, hold a dagger for less weight and more better armor and guns.

Also, I could imagine the Broken Beer Bottle for an Aprils Fools joke from MAIET.
Aprils Fools Day, where swords are roses, daggers are beer bottles, you wear a pink dress (Men), and a witch costume (Women).
And every armor would become like it!

The idea behind dStyle is not to kill someone with the dagger. The point is to use it to hinder the opponents movement while boosting your own, allowing many free shots.

I am a level 35 and i have never once nor wished to learn k-style i have d-styled my way up to this level and i dont wish to stop i use a level 5 dagger and its perfectly fine for me dagger is not all about power it about quickness and its delay if this is what you mean on youre topic then hell im all for more prem dagger..

Ok. Have You Ever Used A Dagger? If So You Would Know That You Can Safe-Fall A Dagger Lunge Just As Easily As You Can A Sword. Its The Same Button And The Same Amount Of Time. Try It Next Time A D-Styler Owns You.:king:
