View Full Version : New GunZ mode- Attack & Defend + Map.

Okay. Heres my idea for a new Attack and Defend map.
Note: I did not steal any of these ideas (listed below) off other games nor people.
+Rep if you like it!

The entire map should look like an "L".

In the base. Their would be 2 stairs on the side for people to go from top floor of base to bottom floor of base.

Their would be no power-up in this map. Not really fair. The game could just basically never end. (power-up=hp/ap/ammo thing.)

The base thats defending will not be able to cross. Why? Because their would be an invisible wall/force field (only effects the defending team) so you can't cheat or cross over. Also, you can shoot through the invisible wall/force field. Each round the invisible wall/force field will switch from base to base.
Also, the base thats attacking would be able to go through those walls allowing to either run or invade.

Like I said before, the map would like an "L". So the top point of the "L" would be red base. On the bottom right it'll be blue base.

Between those 2 bases would be two floor land with stairs allowing people to go up and down. Also then the base thats attacking would go on that and shoot them or just go in and invade.

There are in total 2 floor levels in this map. You can walk into the defending team's base on the first level. On the top level; you would basically just either wall run or wall cancel.

Every 1 minute. If one of the attacking team's player doesn't invade, the base thats defending the invisible wall will go away allowing the people thats defending to leave the base and kill the people thats not attacking. Or; their would be a time limit of 10 minute per-round. So, the base thats attacking or defending must kill everyone within the 10 minute and less. Or, the defending team just lives within the 10 minute or less. Or else the base thats defending will win. Allowing the defending base to gain exp. If their is the 10 minute option, their would be a countdown on the chat box. Like the regular countdown. But instead, when theirs only 10 seconds left, their would be a number on the top center counting down with numbers starting with 10.

Another mode in the Attacking and Defend would be having the attacking team invading the defending team as long as possible. So this would basically be seeing how long you could last in the defending team's base.

Game type for this map: TDM or TDME or the ones listed above. TDME will work by how many kills every team gets. The team gets the most in that time or gets that amount would be attacking the next round and the other team will be defending. With a time limit.

The team with the team mate thats the master of the room base would be the base thats attacking first.

Please do not leech this idea. This was made by me at September, 2 2007.

its good but i think every 2 minutes is soooooo long..

2min=120 seconds
1....2.....3.....4....5....6...7...8....9.....10.. .11...112...13...14....15...16....17...18..19..20. .

thats is only 20 seconds.....

its a long time.....

Its too long to friggin read >.<; You should bold your main points so people with low attention spans can get the point without having to read the whole thing.

this also gets rid of the attackers that camp and stuff. once you're in, you're in, no leaving.

honestly, thats the only party of A&D that gets me, is anytime an attacker takes damage he runs away like a little girl. It makes for some of the most boring games ever played.

waits theres a problem dun forget abt wallposters they may hate it cos wallpost really helps to kill campers so be more careful and explain abt how ppl can wallpost even WITH the forcefield lolx

well, i cant completely add in all the details... if this is created theyll probably ask me. most likely this wouldnt come true. if they do, ill go into more detail. =D

:confused: Depends... if your talking about the attackers.. maybe but if your talking about the defenders impossible since they gotta worry about all the attackers coming to kill them (unless they take too long I'm not a good explainer so... yeah:sad: )

This would take endless ammount's of c++ If you want one of those force field's off halo kind of thing that would take a little while of working to do. Also it would be kinda lame, there would be sprayers and stuff just picking you all off as you're coming through the "Invisible Wall", and how would people know where the invisible wall is, it would need a line or some kind of symbol to indicate where it is.

i like this kind of idea but it will take at least a year to make this map. the map is not the problem is the wall or force thingy, this 2 things will take at least half a year to make it and moving the forcefied will take at least a month. i think if Ijji sovle either problem another problem will be the bugget. So... i don't think ijji is going to make this map.

but still this is a good idea i like it

:D red team on one side of the H then the other team on the other.. it will be ez becouse to get to the other base there will be only a hall way sprayers will pwn :D so i think is good. and mm by the hall way it can have some obtacles to not let the teams the attack get directs hits.

I'm pretty sure it would quite hard to program a wall to stop players. It may let you in from 1 side, but when the same person wants to leave, it might not let them. Might be a little hassle there.

I'm fine with the mansion map now, and for cheaters, I let them. Someone else will either complain and try to kick them, or I will just kill them.

Because if they cheat, they should at least have like 10 seconds to get back up or else they'll die. But some people might not care, they cheat then shoot some people. So in my opinion, the force field or the invisible wall would work better.

The forcefield stuff isn't gonna work. Gunz doesn't support that kind of dynamic map features, just static.

Sorry for destroying your childhood dreams. :/

A&D is fine as it is, if you ask me. I hate counting down though, I'm gonna make macro for it..
F1: 10, 9, 8..
F2: 7, 6, 5..
F3: 4, 3, 2..
F4: 1!

Something like that. ^^;

I was thinking of no "Attack way 2" and no ammo and other power-ups.

The forcefield stuff isn't gonna work. Gunz doesn't support that kind of dynamic map features, just static.
