i just got my new one today, and i know my challenges list has been piling up (half of them probably already forgot, its ok cuz i forgot ALL of them anyway =/)

if you challanged me in the past and we still havnt fought, then either post in this thread (might not get my attention immediatly) or throw me a PM (ill answer instantly if im on), and we can arrange the match

yep my k/d has been sucking I cant get good ratio's unless I'm in duels thats the only one I can do ok in other than normal team dethmatch, att and def is going horrible for me.

He spikes and warps like your portal.
its AGP, its a Jaton 3DForce FX 5200TV

its 8pixels/clock and it has 128MBs of DDR RAM, and it has a 10.4GB memory bandwidth, its not too bad, its better than the old one by a long shot

not to mention i have 512mbs of SDRAM, which i plan on upgrading to 1280mbs soon

You will diffenitely only see a little improvement, those graphics card slow down really fast.
After one hour of gaming you will lag, just screen lag.

+Ram basically doesn't do anything over when you get over 1 gig.

compare it to my other one

i had a nVidia Riva TNT2 16mb, i had to update the thing like hell just to get 3d accelerators on it, and even then its affectiveness was pretty bad

trust me, its MUCH better, not to mention i have yet to overclock it

you'll still see some screen lag unless you use Sol's config.

and if you dont run anything but gunz, you wont need anything past 512mb of ram. although upgrading to a gig is a good idea for general use, so it would never hurt.

i have everything on medium, except affects, which is on high, and everything else is checked

my res is 1024x768 (or something like that) with a 16 next to it, which i forget what it means, but it the colors are more blended and seem a better color

kinda a texture bit thing, but since the other 1 doesnt seem to affect it, i guess im using 16bit textures =/
changing between the 2 made a noticable difference, so ima put it on 32 now =P

Very wise choice, not too much power or too little, its perfect for your pc, judging from the ram. You should get silky smooth framerates on gunz at least 75% of the time. +rep for knowing what you were doing.

I just got my 2nd 20" moniter and my full tower case in, i'm ready to rebuild the beast.

my midtower case was way too cramped to smash a quad core processor and 2 8800GTX cards in there.

pretty soon, i'll have the beefiest computer on the block. Then if and when i get my hands on two of those darn 9000 series cards, My rig will be finished for at least 6months (lol)

I'd get a ridiculous pc like yours,since i'm a pc freak as well, but i need a laptop for college. Right now i've got my sights on a sager with 2 gb ram 7750 core2duo and a 512mb 8600m gt.It should be sufficient for some light gaming. I was thinking of waiting for the new 8800m gtx with sli, but they use 35 watts apiece and would weigh a ton. It would really suck carrying around a 15 pound laptop.

And yeah AMD sux.
