Hello GunZ players,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It is a new year and what better way to start it off then a GunZ Clan Tournament. This will be the 1st of many GunZ tournament ijji.com will be hosting in 2008. Compete for Clan Dominance and Cool Prizes. Please read below for full detail on the GunZ Clan Tournament.
Schedule
Qualifying Period: 1/1/2008 ~ 1/13/2008
Tournament Date (Top 16 Bracket): 1/19/2008
Final 8: 1/26/2008
Voting for community’s favorite clan: 1/26/2008 ~ 1/31/2008
Qualifying Period
• All clan points will reset back to 0 on January 1, 2008. The qualifying period will begin this first day of the new-year 2008.
• Accumulate clan points by playing clan wars. The top 16 teams at the end of the qualifying period will enter the GunZ Clan Tournament.
• If any member from a clan is reported for cheating/hacking, that clan will be disqualified from the tournament and the next ranked clan will take its place. Clan management is clan master’s responsibility. Clan Masters and Clan Administrators, think twice before inviting just any members to your clan. Once decision is made by GMs, it is final.
• Clan swapping will also result in disqualification for both clans.
Tournament Rules
• The top 16 teams will play in a 4vs4 Team Deathmatch game.
• Maps will be randomly selected by GMs.
• This is a single elimination tournament. Lose once and you are out of the tournament.
• General chat is not allowed during gameplay. Only clan chat and team chat will be allowed. Ventrilo users may use ventrilo.
• All items released in ijji GunZ is fair game including premium medical/repair kits.
• Players can not leave during the game to change their equipment. Game will be set to “late join prohibited”. Once a user leaves or disconnects, he/she may not enter the tournament game.
• If a user is disconnected during game, the tournament game will still go on without this user. Only reason to restart will be with “agent error” issues at the beginning of Round 1.
• Any kind of cheating/hacking by any member from a clan will result in his/her clan disqualification from the tournament.
• Any kind of disrespect to GMs or other users including foul language will result in player being kicked and banned immediately. The clan will have to play without a 4th player.
Forum Poll for Favorite Clan
• A poll will start on GunZ ijji.com forums to vote for the community’s favorite clan that participated in the tournament.
• This “favorite clan” will be rewarded a sportsmanship prize.
• The clan with the most votes at the closing of the poll will be chosen as the Favorite Clan.

1st Place:
• Unlimited set of clan master’s choice to the 4 users playing in the Finals Tournament Match (special item packages/rare item sets not included). Same set (30 days) chosen by clan master to the rest of the clan members (must have joined clan before December 30, 2007 and can not leave and rejoin clan during qualifying period). iPod nano for the 4 users playing in the Final Tournament Match. Forum Sticky post with clan introduction and list of clan members to show clan pride.
2nd Place:
• 180 day set of clan master’s choice to the 4 users playing in the Finals Tournament Match (special item packages/rare item sets not included). Same set (15 days) chosen by clan master to the rest of the clan members (must have joined clan before December 30, 2007 and can not leave and rejoin clan during qualifying period). 50 G Coins for the 4 users playing in the Final Tournament Match.
2 Clans tied for 3rd:
• 2 teams that lose in the Final Four will receive 90 day set of clan master’s choice to the 4 users playing in the semi-finals (special item packages/rare item sets not included). Same set (7 days) chosen by clan master to the rest of the clan members (must have joined clan before December 30, 2007 and can not leave and rejoin clan during qualifying period). 25 G Coins for the 4 users playing in the semi-finals.

Events:
Events are sponsored by NHN USA Corporation, 3353 Michelson Dr. Suite 200, Irvine, CA 92612. The events are governed by these official rules. By participating in an event, each entrant agrees to these official rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the event are final in all respects. The event is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
Event Details:
The Clan War Tournament will start on January 1st, 2008 and will end on January 26, 2008. Schedule of the Final 16 Tournament Clans will be posted on January 14, 2008.
Event Prizes:
All “offline” prizes are subject to those who reside in North America. “Offline” prizes are items such as DS Lite, T-Shirts, Gift Cards, iPod, Video Cards, TVs, etc. Users who qualify to win an “offline” prize and do not reside in North America may substitute the “offline” prize for an online prize chosen by ijji.com.
ELIGIBILITY:
You must have a connection to the internet and an e-mail account prior to the first date of this event. The event is open to all ijji.com users at ijji.com. All entrants must be at least 13 years old or older to participate. Void where restricted, taxed, or prohibited by law. Employees of NHN USA and its affiliates, its dealers, its advertising and promotional agencies, in judging organization, manufacturers or distributors for the event materials and their immediate families in the same household are not eligible. NHN USA, Inc. reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each winner.

Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this event, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration. NYN USA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend any part or all of the event should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the event. In such case NHN USA may award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension.
