Hey, and thank you all for reading my guide.

If you have GREAT aim, Then this topic is for you. In this guide i will tell you how to eliminate your enemies quickly, with the single shot of the sniper rifle.

Chapter One: Get to know your weapon.

This part is quite easy. If you dont yet know much about the sniper rifle, and its advantages, listen up.

There are a few tricks with the PSG1. Before doing these i suggest you dont practice in a public game. Ask a freind to help you in a private room.

Here are some things you should know about your rifle.

When you are switching weapons and you must take out the enemy quickly, there is a small glitch. When you bring up your rifle, right before your hand goes to load the gun you are able to fire. MOST
people don't know about this.

Know your aimpoint. If you want to be a great quickshotter or jumpshotter, you must know you aimpoint. The aimpoint is the middle of the screen. When you have you sniper out, and un-zoomed, you will have no cross-hair. Where the cross-hair is supposed to be is the aimpoint. If you get to know this spot enough then you can eaisily take out enemies with the quickshot. For starters u suggest using a peice of tape on the screen.

The Glitched Reload. Ok, so your reloading your sniper. your secondary weapon is out of ammo. What do you do? You quick reload! This does not completly take out reloading time and works with almost any gun. All you do is simply start to reload your gun, and when your hand reaches up to pull the bullet loader back, you switch weapons quickly, to your secondary weapon and back.

Chapter Two: Know your role.

Know your role. You are a sniper. Many people think of a sniper being a camper and just sitting there shoot at the same target over and over again. NO. You must run around. Just down run into the middle of a spray fight. Or if you see an enemy sniper, make shure the coast is clear and hide behind something. If you see a couple people in a spray fight, help them out, steal their kill. If there are remaining enemies, just pick them off. If you see an enemy sniper, Only come out from behind you cover when you are going to shoot. I suggest hiding behind boxes, like the ones in shanghai that you can only see your head. This gives you a HUGE advantage.

Chapter Three: Teqniques and Pro Styles.

Here are some teqniques that i use.

The Quickshot: This teqnique is simple but requires much knowledge of aiming and aimspots. If can aim extremely well, and know where the middle of the screen is, i suggest you use this. If you see a sprayer, and hes comming around a corner take him out with a simple quickshot. All you do is aim at the head or the chest, zoom in quickly, shoot, and zoom out. If you are lucky, the shot will register as a 1 hit kill, and you on your way down the little brick road of success.

The JumpShot: I advise you NOT to use this teqnique. Since IJJI's version is different from the korean's, jumping just slows you down. This just makes you a sitting duck. So forth that i wont even explain the skill.

The OboeShot: This is a skill not many people know of. You simply crouch and jump at the same time while staying still. This confuzzles you enemy and give you that extra accuracy. You need some skill for this shot to aim down while you Oboe.

The CrouchWalk/Shot: I use this alot, And so do others. You can simply walk a tad faster but with no sound just by tapping the crouch button and holding down forward. Also crouch when you shoot. It gives you WAY more accuracy.

The Walking Shot: You sniper rifle loses accuracy when you walk. NOT. The bullet actually goes the a tad to the opposite way you are strafing to. Say you are strafing left. You must aim to the left of the target so the bullet will hit the person.

Thanks for Reading my Guide! I will make more soon.

EDIT: I forgot to add a tip.

After shooting your sniper, try to headshot the enemy on the way down from the recoil. I too get alot of kills this way.

Uh...First of all, I'll have to disagree with you on many counts.

In your first part, I highly doubt the "glitched" reload will work. Even if it does work, it'll probably get fixed, leaving people pathetically waiting for their reload to finish....not something to look fowards to. Since I'm not even sure if this glitch works or not, I won't comment any further.

However, in your Get to Know the Role of a Sniper section, I find this hard to believe. Hello?!? You say in your paragraph that the role of a sniper is to "Just down run into the middle of a spray fight." WOW. I find believing that extremely difficult. Even worse, you say "If you see a couple people in a spray fight, help them out, steal their kill". To me, it seems like you're ENCOURAGING snipers to KS other people. Seriously, writing a guide supporting KS?

Right, next you say "You can simply walk a tad faster but with no sound just by tapping the crouch button and holding down forward." I believe crouching makes you slower, not faster.

Other than this, you did OK, imo. Still, I wouldn't trust any guide you write, if this is the attitude you express. Just my 2 cents.

I wouldn't call it KSing for the simple fact that this is a team game. Unless he speaks of Single Battle, which then it still wouldn't matter because you're out to be on top. KSing shouldn't even be related to Soldier Front. Simple fact is you can't win unless you work as a team. If it takes a sniper to finish someone off, so be it.

The part about spamming crouch. What he means is, if you do not want to make footstep noise, an alternative to just holding down the crouch or walk button, you can spam it to move a little faster without making noise.

I would have to concur to you wisdom (haha xD) about most of the facts. It must be that I misinterpreted what he really was trying to mean. However, the important thing is not about "KS-ing or not ksing", but merely the way he phrased it. It made me quite annoyed by the way he said "steal their kill." A much better phrasing would be to "help them kill an opponent in a difficult situation."

While yes, you have to work as a team in Soldier Front, it is hardly used in SF. The word "team" is only used because it is a requirement. As I've played from the opening of Soldier Front to now, I feel that the players do not willingly associate with each other, form battle plans and carry them out, unless they are friends. Players merely go their own way and hope for the best. The word "team" is only used in seperating players in a game. I would consider team more CS "terrorist" and "antiterrorist" than working together.

I do apologize for sounding rude and uncaring in my previous post, and I must say I was merely stating my opinion over his guide. I realize that I had sounded a little bit overboard, and wouldn't like the same stated over one of my posts.

You should try making a guide of how to handle a broken snipe(which means no bars are left)I know how to use A snipe already but mastering a broken snipe is harder and I've been playing with one for awhile.

Moving almost always affects your aim, but if you are a sniper, just stop, crouch and shoot, it works for me fine. Always stop, it's a 1 hit kill, chances are, you'll get him before he gets you.

I forgot to add tip, its at the bottum of the Guide.

Thanks for all the feedback, ill be making lots more guides and posting.

Also, you can catch me ussually in channels 1-4. Ill most likely be in a single battle game. Usually in shang, but there are many glitcher so i may be in desert. :P

Props to O.B.

And yes, running does effect your aim. So aim ahead of the person for the kill.

When they add new weapons I'll have to try them out. I'd like a light gun with more ammo. Shot power is of no concern to me, as long as it's not TOO weak. Durability and speed is my prime concern. The man who can take out the most and stay alive is the most powerful on the field of battle.

Thats right, just what Sking said, i've never thought of KS in the game, its just team work, and well that thing of "everyone going its way" happens cuz everyone wants to be the leader, once i played with some guy , i dont remember his name, but he said " follow me" then i followed him to see what happens, then half team followed us, it was on missile, and we realized that the ones in team were doing kills, activating bombs and defending, and the others were allways killed, then they joined us , it was a great Win. And we didnt knew each other.

About the broken sniper, once i got my sniper completely brokenn and it was dang horrible, i got to sell my secondary weap, and my flashbangs to repair. But once i could make it ok, it wasnt complete broken it was like with 3 squares out, you just have to know your rifle missing point.

I sometimes complain of KS...but it's only when i shoot someone twice, and I CLEARLY should have gotten the kill...but I don't O_O

I never make a scene out of it though, just kinda makes me sad...

Well, lots of this sounds cheap, which i dont like. The entire part about cheap reloads and stuff, blech. Plus, alof of this was disorginised, if u want me to i can help orginise it, im pretty good at that and could send u it in a PM. And the thing about running into a spray battle, dont run into one, but if you get caught in one then u better know what ur doing. Its an OK guide, messy, cheap, but its okay...

Weird thing is, i didn't really practice at all. I tried the sniper, thought it sucked, went to spray, went back to sniper, then b4 you know it i was quickshotting the cheese off of people plates.

So that's your mistake there i think FinalFantasy, if you haven't noticed that within the game, try it and see :woot:

Yes, he typed "steal their kill" but maybe he thought about helping a team mate out instead of stealing their kill.

Thanks for the comments guys. And yeah, i ment steal their kill. If you see them in a spray fight, you should kill the enemy. Because if you don't, he may kill your teamate and move on to you.

err........something about the no crosshair thing....... if u look closely at where the crosshairs are supposed to be, there are 4 black but very VERY thin lines(which i use for close range purposes and the reason why some noobs call me an aimbotter XD) use these lines as a refrence. you might have to squint to see them.
