Now, I'm not going to insult either of our intelligences by getting into name-calling.

I feel this is a bad idea to implement. This is double talk. It's a FREE service, which is the major part of the game itself. Ever since Igunz, the game has been free, and should always, (save for the required payment for premiums). What should be done is that people should continue sending in replays of hackers, and just quit worrying about it.

It is a good idea in theory, but it wouldn't be in practice. Too many of the players of gunz (me included) do not have access to online payment to make it work.

I didn't bother reading 3 pages of junk, I'm unsure if this has been said.. probably hasn't been though thats why I skipped it all..

1) Paying even $1 for the account, you own the account, and ijji will no longer have the right to openly ban hackers and suspected hackers. If someone has two accounts and abuses there policy on one, they can still keep the other one, instead ijji has the right to completely ban them if they've not paid for the account. Also, if the game for some reason crashes, or hackers hack someones account - unfortunately, ijji is then responsible for refunding your account etc.. and it becomes a massive screw around for the ijji staff, much more then the current hacker situation. Whilst hacking will be reduced, not by the figures your suggesting.

2) MAIET made gunz to be free to play, forever.. That was there big brag back in Beta on International Gunz. Therefor, Gunz will never be a pay to play game. It just can't be. I'm pretty sure that would have been in the agreement between ijji and MAIET, and hence why ijji got the game, rather then other companies which were interested in Gunz. I remember Guntrix specifically mentioning this to us a year and a half ago.

What the Deuce.. you don't have the ability to IP ban someone, thats why you don't know how EASY it is. It's just a simple coding.. something that can be as simple as /ban IP-R ###.###.##.###.

Depends on how the games been coded to do so.. basically thats all that needs to be done. It's the same for IP Blocking too.

See, now you know the basic principle behind banning an IP. Different programs will have different methods, my example is not an exact replica of any known methods that I'm aware of.. except perhaps IRC.. but someone will correct me there.
