Ijji, I'm sick of these 3 issues

Issue 1- When I go to log in. I go to the main page, put in my name and pass, then hit play live

I press start on the start screen

Gunz comes up.

I try to pick a server, and I can't connect, it says "cannot access server".

About 2 seconds later, gunz closes down by itself

I then have to go back to the gunz.ijji.com page, and hit play live

After I do, I get the error, "gameguard execut error 101" try restarting your computer blah blah blah

I then have to restart my computer and hope that this doesn't happen again

I'm guessing this is happening because gameguard is still running in the background of your computer when gunz closes improperly

I'm not sure how you can fix this



Issue 2- Ping lag

When someone has over 30 ping, I have to lead ahead of their bodies if I want to hit them, and try to predict the future and shoot accordingly.

People in gunz have learned to accept the fact that if you want to kill someone, you have to shoot ahead of them instead of at them

I ****************ing hate it

And you wouldn't see this issue on any other game besides gunz. Games like counterstrike, and any other online games, you shoot at the person and they die, not ahead.


I don't know how to fix this either, but GMs, you should ****************ing try, because leading is annoying and stupid.

There are at least 2 or 3 hackers in every game. It's ****************ing ridiculous, and shows an over all neglect of the game by the GMs.


People are, and have always hacked, by uploading .DLLs after they press the start button when gunz.exe starts running.. and right before gameguard does

You can easily fix this by having gameguard.exe run before gunz.exe does


Simple


Anyway.. It's time you GMs stopped being lazy with gunz, and started being proactive. I'm sure everyone would appreciate it.

Lag cannot be fixed by Ijji, foo. Having to lead is common among fast-paced fps games. I play counterstrike-source, and yes, you do have to lead on some people. By the way, people with 60 ping on css are actually 60 to the server, not 60 to you.

As for the hackers, well, you're not reporting enough. MAIET is a small company and it's hard to develop great hacking prevention.

issue 1: if your running on a vista find and download vista manager. if you get the gamegaurd thing, just log off and log in your account on the computer

Issue 1: Your end, not ijji's.

Issue 2: Due to the speed of GunZ, and looking at where it's made consider this: Made in Korea, Ping in Korea is normally nothing about 10 - 15ms. So when you get above that of course the game gets iffy. Ping is impossible to stop, it DOES take so many MS to go from one spot on the world to another. You can never have 0 ping to a place, there will always be quote "Distance Lag" to and from one spot to another. Sorry, with the speed of GunZ you'll just have to learn to lead.

Issues 3: Meh I won't comment, hackers are getting bad.

That how we have the internet. Massive amounts of cable structuring throughout the USA and even in the oceans to get to other countries. Once everything gets converted to optical fiber cable (light based, only as slow as routers) instead of slow copper (electron based, limited distances and slow speeds)

This fool here does not keep his computer in good shape,proved last time by his screenshot(5+ Firewall/whatever error).Therefore,it's pretty much his own fault.He lags,and the Error was possibly his bad PC have to shut Gunz by force and forgot to shut Gameguard.And the Hackers are pretty much easily to deal with.They hack,you report and tell them about Banning/whatever.They get scared and runs most of the time.

You don't shoot ahead in CS because...well, this game is fast-paced. In CS you pretty much walk around at a steady pace the entire time. Also, it's not hard to shoot ahead of someone. Well, it's hard but not "****************ing" difficult. Also, what swear has 19 letters?
Instead of whining about it, why don't you learn how to fix the cause, why not make gameguard run first then send it to Ijji. Or perhaps make it so hacks are impossible to find, I'm sure Ijji would appreciate that much more than people telling them about it...for the 96th time.
Oh wait, whats that? YOU CAN'T. So I guess all you have left to do is whine about it instead of finding something useful to do. Like...oh I don't know. ANYTHING.

this is funny... lol about your lag and CS stuf... CS is crap, very very crap... don't care what people wanna say, it really is.. Gunz is fast paced... and in real life, on any moving target, at pretty much any distance, you have to lead my friend.. a person running from left to righ at 100m away you have to lead a body length or two before firing... otherwise even with a bullet going a bijjilion feet a second as they do, you're still moving sonny.. so you have to aim ahead, and you generally aim for them to run into the bullet....

Thats how lag is dealt with on gunz, kinda adds an element of realism to the game if you ask me.. simply because the game is so fast paced, even at point blank, you'd have to lead :) Why do you think snipers don't shoot moving targets if they can wait till the targets stopped? Because moving targets can be difficult to hit.. that they can be.

Issue 3: I've heard some interesting ideas... I remember one about 2 years ago, I loved it.. upload all over these hacker sites a hack for the 'updated' version of gunz, script kiddies running around wanna use these hacks download them.. once downloaded the program activates and bye bye script kiddies, one by one there hard drives get zero'd :)

A game engine engine built around realistic ballistic trajectory might just get annoying i.e. i have to lead all the time plus compensate for lag.

They are doing as much as they can right now. You think the would want to scare off customers? Ijji knows that they are losing many players due to hacking and obviously are losing money.
