Devilito, I sincerely ask you to consider changing the rule "As long as you are a member of the top 16 clans, you may play in the tournament. Members that have been in the clan before the qualifying period can play, if a member joined after January 1, 2008 then they may not play in the tournament matches."

Many people didn't read this post before because you didn't make an announcement on gunz.ijji.com homepage. For example, me and the clan master of Sparta were joking around, and he jokingly kicked me from the clan. Now I won't be able to participate even though I've been in Sparta for over two months? Really no one from the top 16 clans reads these forums, we're all on GunZFactor.

Remember last tournament? People went on their clanmates characters and still played, breaking the rules. Same thing will happen this time.

So I'm urging you to consider the date to at least Jan 5th, thanks.

They probably need that info before the tournament starts. If the tournament almost starts and then they start administrating all players and clans it will fail miserably.

They did it so that there won't be a "share" scenario, where the teams don't all just disband and form into one of the teams so they all get the prize.

I agree, you honestly can't predict what will happen in that time frame from the qualifiers to the matches. You should at least extend it to a later date in January, although Shot rejoined exactly on the 1st of January. Please re-consider this Devilito, a lot of top tier clans participating will be losing their members ability to participate if you don't consider it.

Yet your letting style play in the tourney when their clan was made January 1st? The clan was supposed to be made before that date. Also a couple of the clans in the tourney had hackers in them yet they did not get dq'd.

I'm sure those who are choosing to argue to this rule are arguing for those who are not considered a new comer who may possibly take the place of those who had helped get the clan points. Like I said, if you simply just extend it maybe possibly one or two days at the least, people would be a lot more happier and more willing to participate. I never said completely remove it, I just stated to extend it to maybe around Jan. 3rd-5th, I mean honestly? It's Jan. 14th, there is no way some guy could go back in time and happen to join between the 3rd and the 5th if you understand what I mean. Each and every person has earned their spot and brought their clan to the top, lets lighten up a bit Devilito and give them a fair chance at participation? Unexpected things do happen and I'm sure ijji has had it's fair share of those events. We all forgive you, now can you do the same for us?

How about monitoring that in another way?
allow up to three users who've joined/rejoined the clan after the set date to participate, but not get any of the rewards?

well we are facing the same problem in FormalDehyde because 2 of our tourney players got stuck on the update and they cant log in , please can u find a solution for that ?

We've had this same rule in effect for the last several tournaments, it should be common knowledge.

Clan Leaders, just refrain from kicking your best players during tournament season.
