error at startup of gunz

whenever i try downloading the latest patch of gunz(14:00jan12 2008) a dialog box appears saying that an error has occured and that i should check my anti-virus program or firewall....plz suggest what measures i should take!!!

turn of ur anti-virus + firewall while downloading the patch.

Or just have someone send you the updated file
.. I doubt turning off your firewall and antivirus will help

nothing more needed
The files safe and its from Thahanos so if you want to blame anyone and think its not safe , blame him .. but it worked for me
