6. Hacking/Unapproved Programs – Any discussion pertaining to, or providing specific information regarding hacking, exploitation, or unapproved third party programs is strictly forbidden. Participating in such a discussion will subject your ijji.com account to suspension, or possibly, termination.
Rule 6 states that and I went ahead and bolded one point.
Though you've gone ahead and edited your post here's mine and it doesn't infringe on that rule at all.
GunZ Anti-hack, will IJJI adopt this, is it allowed, is it approved, etc, what are the feelings of this device from IJJI.
Now before a GM gets huffy puffy with me I haven't discussed an unapproved third party program, I'm asking if it's unapproved or not, and if it's unapproved then I won't take part in any future discussions about it, but I want a line drawn that's crystal clear, not grainy and in the sand.
So I'm wondering :) And actually along those lines IJJI said they'd have a follow up email for something I sent it but I have yet to recieve anything and this was one of the topics. So I'm hazey on it!
Let us know so we can have the crystal clear truthful what IJJI feels about this and if it's unapproved or is approved!
Thanks for taking the time to read GM :)

yes we can.. but we cant aks ijji to aprove of a certain third party program that would benefit ijji gunz..
but maybe we can ask if they intend to make a similar program themself or otherwise improve on the situation?

It's true that hacks are against the rules to talk about I agree fully with this. The fact though that this is preventing hacks would be at least nice to know if IJJI supports in anyway or may consider it in anyway. Just really curious to feel from a GMs heart what they feel about this. Not really promoting it myself nor do I actually have it, just want IJJI to tell me if it checks out or not before I promote it a little and get it for myself.

Probably not but I'm not saying they do or don't until a GM/Admin/Someone of the IJJI employment tells me otherwise.

ijji doesnt approve it xD
is that 100% sure...
not approving it would make most of the gunz community really mad.. why? it ruins the game.. hacking! yes makes games less fun.. people will leave gunz? less chances of premy people? no money for them? i really think they should approve this otherwise.. well i guess they should repatch gunz every day >>
anit hack is hacking =(
Not really it changes no values or give an advantege, all it dose is someone has an abnormal packet flow it cuts them off their is no reson ijji should not support this either that or do what a man did in 2 hours that ijji couldent do in months.

Ijji will never, under any circumstances, approve of any anti-hack as it does something they apparently cannot do themselves. And that is, lessen or eliminate the hacker situation. Honestly, in my opinion? If they truly wanted to get rid of the hackers, they'd just start dishing out lawsuits. Which they can do, with a variety of options to pick from.
1) Violation of the terms of service. (which is considered a legal contract)
2) Modification of files legally connected to the games and their developers. (as such files are copyrighted and stand as registered trademarks)
There's more, but let's allow them to think about that lil' bit there. One thing is for certain, upon hearing of the first lawsuit handed out? I'd reckon the hackers would vanish within that instant.

Believe me when I say this, I have actually researched vasts amounts of ideas that can be implimented to deal with the hackers. Legal action is only one idea that I have looked into, one out of dozens. I'm willing to wager that I have come up with ideas that ijji have not or could not have thought of. But's it's up to them if they wish to at least hear my suggestions, as I await a reply e-mail from them hinting of at least SOME interest on matter of my ideas that have yet to be told. Coming from the International Edition of Gunz, where cheating/hacking/glitching is not an issue, I believe in a problem free environment of gameplay. It IS possible, as I have seen it. And no, this is not a biblical speech of "I have seen the promised land." *lol* I just hope it doesn't take as long to sort it all out, as it did on the Internation Edition.

Ah, ZClan, I just attempt to leave no room for needless dribble. Too many aggitated folks roam the forums, ready to turn into critics about other people's writing skills. Yet, the funny thing still remains. While they judge another's writing, they tend to display poor writing skills themselves. Hypocritical, don't you think? *lol* Mind you, don't let this educated writing talent fool you. I can and do display talents in gaming as well. I guess it comes to show, you can't judge a person based on the habits of enjoying video games. ANYWAY, enough babbling and blowing of my own horn. *lol* Back to the topic at hand, shall we?

/agree
I don't think IJJI/Maiet will go into any ''legal'' action, it would be a ''waste or time'' ;) if you know what i mean...but i think you're right they could do that, and it would STOP if not all but almost EVERY hacker.
so in other words
/you are pro at thinking ideas
/+rep if i could

I don't see it as a waste of time, honestly. Even ONE lawsuit would deliver results, especially when word travels fast. This is especially true when panic starts, and the fear takes over. Picture it like this, ZClan. Say you were amongst the countless hackers, and one of them told you that they or someone who hacks was busted and is being charged. How quickly would you stop hacking, knowing that there is possibility that legal action may be taken against you next? Now take that mental image, and add it to the fact that these hackers have their own forums. One of which they will DEFINATELY notify others in such forums of the legal action being done upon one of the hackers. And with the countless amount of game replays and screenshots being sent in to ijji? That would be a near endless supply of proof needed in a court of law.
Edit: Forgot to mention, it's not like ijji or MAIET Entertainment Inc. would have to send ALL of their staff to appear in court. So they could still run their business/company, having delt a serious blow to the hacker situation in one swoop.

You pose a good point. But as far as ijji is concerned they're problems are only minimal so they find that there is no need to rush this situation and take it to any real extremes. But seeing how the game was licensed to ijji by MAIET. The only way they would be able to file any type of lawsuit is through the website Terms of Service. I'm not positive but isn't MAIET the one that copyrighted the game, or does ijji have a say in the matter as well? If it's privately owned I would think they could.
