We are currently conducting our own investigation on gifting and hope to have it released in the future. However, as a mentioned there is no scheduled release date.

You do realize it's not as easy to code a secure gift feature.
They have to make sure it's bug free. It wouldn't be wise of them to pump it out really quick and then to find out the gift function doesn't work correctly, or gives the gift to the gifter and the giftee.

They need to make sure there's no loopholes to get out of paying to send your friend a gift, and make it so you cannot hack the gift feature to give out free gifts.

i always wanted gifting because i didnt want to get premiums with a credit card. but now there's Pay By Cash! thank you IJJI! i dont really care if gifting comes out or not anymore but yeah...like everyone says, be patient. it will be announced sometime.
