Crew leadership transfer

Most of you probably won't realize how IMPORTANT this feature is until something bad happens to your crew.
Being a crew leader is a huge responsibility in this game, starting from having to be online most of the time if you want to recruit someone, trying to make things come together, being harassed by some folks who wont to join your crew if it's fairly popular... the list goes on.
There are more than 5 major crews that have disbanded because this feature didn't exist. And many more will suffer the same fate unless something in the game is implemented in this regard. It would be nice if there was a way to transfer the leadership status of a crew to another member of the same crew.
I don't know much about the technical details, but I believe this is something that SHOULD be fairly easy to code/test/deploy. It's not like adding a new city, or a new car, or a new paint color. It's just a player attribute and a silly function :P

I would like it implemented... I am suggesting to add a 1 week period before you can transfer it to another leader, or even a crew leadership fee to transfer the Crew Rights from one persons name into your name... Or you could combine both of those ideas!

I thought of another reason why this feature should be implemented.
Suppose a crew leader has to go abroad (to Malaysia or some other place) for a while (for 2 weeks or more) and his/her crew is currently holding a channel for that time: The crew would be unable to get a hold of the Mittron earnings or parts won (if they have channel 1 or 2 in their custody) during that period of time.
Well. Suppose no more. This is based on a true story.

It's a good idea, until your leader gets hacked, then makes the hacker the leader as the hacker lets himself in to the crew. =D

Just a thought, since there is no "undo" option unless the other person is willing to.

lol i love this idea. there have been lots of good crew where the leader stoped playing cuz he/she got borad, sick, died, etc. lots of ppl i know wants to transfer leadership

Bump I Agree Bump Bump this feature must be needed cause the lack of this feature alot of great crews quited cause some leaders where tired or couldnt handle the stress in cb or ... sow if this feature was enabled ppl didnt have to start makin a new crew cause of the leader quitin

This feature will be getting implemented along with Rush Time. The date of when Rush Time will be released hasn't been announced yet. It will be soon though :)
