This was posted a long time ago while I was using my other account. It has mostly my ideas from the time, but it also has quotes of ideas from other users.
Yes, they have changed a few things listed in this already, but I am too lazy to remove them. I don't want to alter it anyways.
Auction House
Bidding, Filter Options, and Sold Item Message
Bidding
Currently the Auction House is pretty much a large scale parts shop with random prices. My idea is to basically change it from a large scale parts shop into an actual Auction House.
1) Bidding System
The word Auction is a term used when people keep raising the offer on one or more specific items. Allowing people to do so in the Auction House will require a Bidding System. If one is implemented, then the fee taken from the user will need to be changed. This is a change from the fee being taken off as the item is put into the Auction House.
2) Fee
Make it so that the fee taken off is based off of the highest bid made on the item.
3) Option for Removal of Items
Have an option where people can put an item in the Auction House where they CANNOT remove the item. Note, I said OPTION. Default for EVERY item placed into the Auction House is OFF. This option is available to the public so that they know they are bidding on an item that will stay until the end. I am sick of people pulling items out of Auction Houses at the last moment. This option fixes that.
Filter Options
Implement a way to filter out specific items. Having the ability to search for the parts or items you want specifically is one thing that speeds up the process in which people are in the Auction House for.
Example:
Freddy has 68 OMD Coins and decides to sell them at 20 each.
That would come out to 1360 Mito... Let's say nobody buys it for the time being. Here comes Bunta and he is looking to buy a lot of cheap OMD coins fast. As he wades through the coins, he finds a bunch for 40 each, some at 37 each... Even some as low as 27 each... He is getting
frustrated because he cannot find a lot and doesn't want to buy them one by one... He finally comes across Freddy's OMD Coins and finally buys a bunch of them.
Sold Item Message
Add an Option for the message after you sell something to pop up. A lot of people would love to see this message being disabled, while others would love to see it. Make an option to toggle the message on or off just like the Auction House idea I have up above.
Chat System
Spam Filters, Autoscrolling Text, Profanity Filters and Whispering
Spam Filters
This game is filling with spam daily. There is probably more than enough to take up serveral large chunks of hard drive space on the server. Also the fact that this is quite annoying to see.
Here are some ideas on how you could go about on handling these spammers.
1) Create more sections for chatting.
Setting it up so that there are multiple channels for talking to people in, would decrease the amount one would spam in one general section. Make each channel for the following; Crew Recruitment, Trading/Auction, Main Chat(All)
Basically, taking the current Main Chat and splitting it into Sub-Categories
Crew Recruitment - Where you recruit players.
Trading/Auction - Where you trade items.
Main "All" Chat - Where you chat to everybody that doesn't want to hear the trades or recruiting.
2) Chat flooding prevention system.
Having it so people can only send a certain amount of messages in a fixed amount of time for every form of chatting, is needed to make this work.
3) Ignore List
Implement an ignore list. This would have a gray list and black list...
Gray List: Ignore PMs only from a certain user.
Black List: Ignore ALL messages EXCEPT normal chat. This way they have a chance to talk still if they want to try to fix a problem with one another.
Auto-Scrolling Text
Implement an option to stop the auto-scrolling text in the chat menu when you are trying to scroll up while trying to find something someone said that you had an interest in.

Profanity Filters
People complain about this daily. When someone says a word that has even a remotely profane word in it, it filters it out. The word ************ for instance. If someone were to try to say assassin, or harassment/harassing, or pass, the game filters it out. This is just an example so it is applied for a lot of other words as well.
Whispering
This is pretty annoying. Having to type in the username every time or hit * to automatically bring the user you are chatting to up right away. There is a problem with that. If someone whispers you just before you hit * to talk to someone else, you might message the wrong person.
Whispering needs to bring up little windows that you can minimize/maximize when you want. By default they are minimized. Also, if a user wanted, they could make the whispering bar able to show 3 lines of text.
Deliveries
-- Make it so that you cannot join a party or create a party while you have a delivery started and
-- You cannot start a delivery while you are in a party and
-- Eliminate the fact that people can get jumps from being sandwiched
This would fix the constant boosting throughout the track that people do... Hey I did it myself, I won't lie. That is how I got all the records at station 3 in Cras. It is also something that I do not like. Deliveries are based on the players skill with the car, not skill with the car and 3 others comboing like mad to fill his boost meter.
My idea is to make it so people cannot benefit from the combos chunking up their boost meter anymore so that they have to rely on their own skills to get to the top.
There is another idea, and it is to eliminate the boost gains from the other 3 people in the party while you are doing a delivery which might be easier to do for two parts of the previous ideas, but harder for one of the other ones, the hard one would to compensate for the "Sandwich Jumps"...
So to sum things up.
- Unable to Join a Party if you have a delivery activated.
- Unable to start a delivery while in a party.
- No more jumps from being sandwiched.
or
Eliminate Boost gains from the other party members and find compensation for the sandwich jumps.
Another idea.
Implement Overall Records as well as Weekly Records. The Overall records would be the ones that do not get deleted. Only do this IF it is made so that other players CANNOT assist you. (Listed Above)
This is to improve competition and make things more fun.
Another idea. Party Deliveries. Instead of 1 person doing deliveries, the party is counted as a whole and has to get to a lot of different locations around town. Rather than just 5 points, make about 25 points or so... The only way I can see this fitting in is if it was made similar to the Battle Zone, otherwise you wouldn't be able to make normal deliveries more competitive and fun to do.
More Storage for Items
Only having two sections for items is not enough. If you were just starting the game, 2 would be enough, but if we could buy more storage for items while driving the car around, that would be awesome.
Having a warehouse would be pretty cool too. Store items that you get that you cannot use yet so you can regain the spaces in your inventory in which that item or those items were taking up.
Parts Shop
This is probably one of the most useless Parts Shops I have ever seen... I mean seriously. Someone brought this to my attention so I started thinking about it. If someone buys something from here, that would be legendary... You will always be able to get better parts elsewhere and for a much cheaper price.
The only useful thing about this shop is the part where you can Modify your parts. Maybe the Channel Battle Coupons too, once they work that is...
Idea. add the chance to buy parts buy gambling. These parts cost more than the ones already in the shop, but have a chance to have mods on them. Item name, Gamble Speed Part, etc... Picture of a box.
Idea. Make it so that Heat Treatment kits CANNOT be obtained from combos. This would ensure that people will have to use this shop every once in awhile.
Sandwich Jumps
This is when two cars on both sides of you press against you at the same time and you get tossed into the air.
This is quite the annoyance... Just because two people press against your side does not mean you should get tossed into the air. Instead you and them should lose speed. Dirty tactic to force you to lose a race, but it should be allowed seeing as it is hard to keep someone blocked for a bit if they are trying to get away from hitting someone.
I find it quite stupid that people can get boosts from this too.
Driving Around
Allow a spherical degree movement of view when you hold right click with the mouse.
Allow more camera views... Camera on the lower side of your vehicle view, etc.
Option to change MPH to KPH.
Rear View Mirror in 1st person mode.
Drivers Seat Camera View.
Manual Shifting.
Option to Remove the GPS Arrow at the top of the screen.
More sirens for HUV chases.
Remove the railings on the sides of the trucks with jumps on them.

Crew Management

Crew Points
Currently, this is quite troublesome. The way crews obtain points is quite stupid. The reason, just because you use OMD Coins, does not mean your crew is the best crew.
I have talked to a few people about this and they feel the same way. I find there needs to be a change in how crews obtain points.
One of the ideas I have heard was to eliminate the trading of OMD Gold Coins to anybody except the leader of the crew you are in.

Also, implement crew member rankings. Allow the leader to determine where each user stands in the crew.
Dealership
Allow people to test drive a car before they buy it. This test drive could require a small fee as well.

Rare/Unique Parts and Car Upgrades
Rare/Unique Parts
Implement Rare Parts and possibly even Unique Parts. These parts cannot be obtained the way other parts normally are, which would be by combos and patrols. As for the rest, let the administrators decide on a unique way to obtain such parts.
Car Upgrades
Implement engines, superchargers/turbochargers, tire grips, and other modifications.
Ability to merge an engine, supercharger/turbocharger, tire grips, and other such modifications to your car so that when car selling is available through the auction house, each car will be different. However, this might conflict with people trying to sell their car while it has a spoiler, rims, and body kits equipped. Setting it up so that the car being sold is allowed to have those sold with the car would be awesome.
Battle Zone
Timers, New Tracks, and Race Options

Implement a practice track. One that has a little bit of everything... Fill it with obstacles, cars, the works. This would be one heck of a long track seeing as everything is spread out quite a bit, but it would make for quite the track for training.
Also more tracks that enable a user to have more of a random feel to which map Duffy selects and which map random selects.
Race Options
1) Traffic
Allow for the host to select new options. Very Heavy Traffic (Insane Traffic) and No Traffic.
2) Gates
People would like to change which gates are active and such in the game they are in.
People would also like to determine whether or not the gates give boosts or not.
3) Latency
Ability to see the latency of every player in the same room as you. People dislike having laggers in their game because of the fact of what occurs in each game.
4) Laps
Ability to increase the set number of laps to win.
5) Time of Day
Option to select what time of day it is. Morning, Afternoon, Dusk, Night etc...
Morning would have the sun glaring from one side while the ground and air isn't exactly too bright.
Afternoon would be the brightest setting.
Dusk would be darker than morning.
Night would be the darkest. People would have to rely on the light from streetlamps, car lights and whatever vision they could muster.
Music Player
The music player is in the bottom right of the screen in the cities and Driver Dome, but it is not there during the races in the Battle Zone.
In the Driver Dome, allow users to play their own music as well allow them access to the Music Player.
In the Battle Zone, allow users to access the Music Player rather than having to select their music in one of the cities, then return to the Battle Zone in order to listen to it.
Messages in Middle of Screen
Final Lap Message, Completion of Delivery, and Sold Item Message
These messages are very annoying. When you are driving around trying to avoid traffic, these messages just get in your way. Put the message that pops up at the top of the screen rather than the middle. As for when someone completes a delivery, make it have the list pop up on the middle right hand of the screen where the menu pops up when you enter a stations boundary and make it smaller with a tab on it so you can maximize it when you are in a spot where you want to look at it.
This goes for the medal award along with the Exp and Mito gains.
Goal: To keep more players in the city
City Checkpoint Racing
Here is one of my ideas to allow people to be seen more often in the cities
Setting up races that start in the city itself rather than the battlezone and having it so that the racers have to get to checkpoints around the map would be pretty cool.
Traffic (NPC Drivers)
These guys really need to be more random on how they drive. They always generally do the exact same pattern of driving every time, so it gets too predictable. Change how the traffic drives around the city and Battle Zone.
I have received the idea by other users that some of the NPC Drivers should drive differently than the rest. More reckless traffic driving you could say.
Fuel Costs
V9 Cars - These things are not able to be managed without LOSING money. This is pretty stupid if people wanted to drive these. I can understand why they have the costs so high, but people should be able to afford driving these things even if it means that they are not gaining money or losing it at all.
Besides, how the hell can a car that looks like it can barely hold 5 people able to hold 5700 Liters of Fuel?
Fuel costs too much in this game to have such a large amount of fuel able to be carried by one car. 10 Mito/Liter is quite insane to begin with, so why are they so intent on making cars that have Giant Fuel supplies? To me, it seems like they just wanted people to quit playing the game with this idea alone.
This game needs a change on how much fuel a car can carry for certain.
Street Racing
This idea is something a lot of people would probably like. The concept of this is to race in the middle of the city rather than having to go to the Battle Zone.
Here is how it would work.
There would be several locations on the map in which you could choose when you are giving out a challenge. The location that you choose is the location you would start the race at. Once both players get to the start location, they will be unable to move and automatically placed on the road like the Battle Zone. After all the players in the challenge have gotten to the location, the host of the challenge then selects a new point on the map that they have to get to.
Now, after the host chooses the location they need to get to, the race counts down from 5, then they start their run.
Before the challenge, the host has the option to choose as many people as he or she wants in the race... As for being in a party, you cannot start a challenge OR receive challenges while in the party.
