GM A Question for a CONTEST!!!!!

I am thinking of doing a contest...... :idea:
But I dont know if its ok to do it..
I love DriftCity and I dont want to get BAND for doing it.......
I am not going to do the contest untill I get an OK from a GM.......:busted:

The contest will be a racing contest. It will only be for my crew(JeRzEEdRiFT) All players will have to race three (3) times in a row, it will be a solo race not a team race. Each man for them self, up to sixteen (16) racers no less then eight (8). I will not be racing, I will be spectating the races to see who wins. Out of the three (3) races who ever has the most wins will win. If there is a tie, then the racers that were tied will race one (1) more race. The 1st place winner will win one (1) Ultmate Game Card(A$20 value to add G-Coins). The 2nd place winner will win a Mittron Enhancer(Used to make parts or to upgrade parts).The 3rd place winner will win $10,000 Mito(In Game Money). There will be a Fee of $50,000 Mito(game money). ALL THE MITO THAT IS MADE FROM THE CONTEST WILL BE SAVED FOR THE CREW AS A BANK, TO HELP US ALL OUT!!! I will be doing all the funding, and I would like to have a contest one (1) time a week... I spoke to the leader of the crew( JeRzEEdRiFT)and others from the crew(JeRzEEdRiFT) and they like the idea.. They said"It will help us all out alot"

How will people get there winnings?????

(1st) I will WISSPER the winner the Ultimate Game Card PIN Number... :thumbsup:
(2nd) I will TRADE the winner the Mittron Enhancer.. :thumbsup:
(3rd) I will BUY a $5 item for $10,005. :thumbsup:
And I will be taking PIC'S for prof for all to see so there is no problems......

I think he wants to make it a legitimate thing... But from my point of view, he is offering a 20$ gift card, and 45k mito worth of things in game...

He is getting 400k to 800k from the entry fees, minus the auction house fee.

If Im not mistaken, 1$ is = to 10 GCoins?


I think this is his way of changing GCoins into Mito. Could look like a scam at first, but I think that is why he wanted the GM's to reply to this, even though I can see a couple different things that they might say XD

Since this is in your own crew, I see nothing wrong. It's a private matter amongst your crew and as long as you honour the deals, eveything should be ok.

Although I fail to see why entrants need to pay 50k, only to get a ~30k enhancer or 10k when they technically "win". Maybe it's just me... :grr:

bigdave, I wouldn't worry about it unless you were keen on making a legitimate way to basically exchange mito for gcoins.

Also the fact that if ijji actually said to go ahead with it and you actually scammed, that would make them look bad... I doubt ijji will do it.

However, if you do it on your own and people actually end up trusting you and you actually don't scam them, ijji probably wouldn't have a problem with it... I don't know for sure though.

OK! Because this is something I already do.. I'm gonna tell you how to do it since I already do these things in my crew Kuroikumo.

FIRST OFF!

If you want to gift someone the money, then get them to set up a paypal UNVERIFIED account. THEREFOR you are not required to be above the age of 18! ALSO! An Unverified PAYPAL account is a PAYPAL account WHICH DOES NOT HAVE BANK DETAILS! NONE AT ALL! So is safe. It's just an attachment to your email address!

When the person wins, they give you the address attached to there paypal account, you go to your paypal account and send through paypal the $20, which because it's an unverified account, can only be used online, and most likely gcoins, can then purchase gcoins!

For the in game stuff, just use AH.

EDIT: Don't be a tool, don't make them pay 50,000 to enter a race which has no benefit for them! Your pricings insane, I wouldn't even bother. I'd just do surveys for my gcoins.. 50,000 and the second/third palce winners barely get half of what they paid.. or in this case, only second place gets what they paid, and I can't make a conversion from mitto to g coins. But you're a cheap skate. Either save up yourself, and ask for donations from your crew, or jack up the prizes ALOT MORE! So they actually earn enough for them to go 'whow, that might be worth paying 50,000 for!'

Example... Third place = 100,000
Second Place = 250,000
First Place = 200 gcoins.

OK..... This is the real deal!! The way that I do it is with a pre paid card called Ultimate Game Card.....And I will just wissper the PIN # and you would activate the card... The card will cost me $20(US) the cards only come in $20(US).. So i have to make some thing, but I use the mito to help out my crew mates....:) I just bout a good freind a 400k Tiger. But ok new rules 1st wins $20 pre paid card 2nd wins 100k in mito 3rd wins Mittron Enhancer.. So If anyone want's to be a part of the contest post it here or send me a message here on ijji my name is bigdave0.. It will be 30 min. after the CH. Battle every week.. Also if you have any questoins let me know I'll try my best..:) And the reason I want a GM to help is so I can give then the PIN # and they will give it to you.. That way no one will think it's a scam.. OR, Hey give me a job.........;)
