I decided that since bloodhound made a sniper guide, I'd compliment with a blitzer one.
The Code Of The Blitzer:
A blitzer does not wait for his friends to weaken the enemy
A blitzer does not sit behind a crate like a coward
A blitzer does not fear a storm of bullets
A blitzer does not mind losing his life
A blitzer will rush alongside his allies to suppoert them
A blitzer will be silent, quick, and deadly
A blitzer will master the arts of aiming
A blitzer will be the first to open fire, and the last to scan the battlefield
I am a blitzer, and upon these creeds I solemnly swear!
(salute, bow, walk away)
Chapter 1: Knowing your weapon.
As a blitzer, you have access to the following weapons: P90, AK-47, P5, M16, M4, and Steyr_AUG. These weapons give you adequate speed and deadly firepower in which to overwhelm your opponents. By the time they die, you must be running towards the enemy, already far away and fully loaded for the next target.
The fastest of blitzers use the P90. They are almost always going to be the first ones firing from the front line, and are usually the last ones firing at an enemy. Using this weapon means you must be the first one to arrive among all blitzers. Patience is required, since the weapon is weak compared to other automatics. Your ability to utilize cover is paramount, since you are only effective at close range. Make sure to scan every corner and walk when you think your enemy is near. Only reload when you have 10 shots left. Unlike other blitzers, aiming comes as a complimentary skill with P90 users.
The most elusive blitzers toy with their enemies by means of the AK-47. Small, quick, fast, and deadly powerful, they are to be the most feared amongst blitzers. While they can only handle one or two opponents at a time, if they are used as a dagger in the back, the enemy will be dead before a single ally has time to aim. Almost as fast as P90 users, it is important to master aiming, as the AK-47 is an unruly and wild path. Learning when and where to fire your gun is key, and prefiring is actually detrimental. Make sure you use the burst technique with this gun, and do not be afraid to crouch down and fire from mid-range every once in a while.
M16 and M4 users delight in providing cover. They do not care where the enemy goes. They only find pleasure in the roar of their guns. With all the power and efficiency packed inside, it does not matter if an enemy gets past them anyway. When shot, you are quick to lash around and take them with you. You are the most versatile of Blitzers, the "jack-of-all-trades".
As shameful as Steyr_AUG users are considered to be, you are the most difficult enemy to take down. You can scope in on the enemy, fire a few shots, and quickly reposition. Moving around the battle is a blessing and a curse. The one who knows how to hide and quickly reappear in the right place is master of the AUG, but looking for the answers in their scope will get them killed quickly. They are the jokers of the blitzer species, delighting in confusing their enemy. However, they are the most rare. People often regret their choice once they realize the futility of their pursuit here.
I have no details on the P5 since I've never used it.
Chapter 2: Answer Your Calling
Everyone calls you a rusher. You are the fool of the field. You are the first to kill and the first to be killed. But this is not the truth. It is disgraceful to use your enemies as shields, and to manipulate your enemy. But you do not always have to burst through the smoke. At the end of the day, the heroic blitzer will remain alive, commanding respect from the corpses that lie about him.
P90 users - Make sure you are always there to support your friends. You don't always have to be on the front, remember that. Leave the allies to push forwards while you guard the rear. Make sure you balance your role, as you are the most multi-tasking.
AK-47 users - You are the most direct and confrontational. You are also the last blitzer to make his appearance in the battlefield. As long as you are not seen you master the field, and even when you are in plain view, your deafening roars will stun the enemy before he or she can react.
Steyr_AUG - You are the only blitzer who takes a less active role. Your job in speed is to dodge bullets and set up in another area quickly. It does not matter if you cannot kill. You are the distractor. You keep their attention on YOU! You are the star of every show, remember that.
M4/M16 - Your role is very simple: Fire, fire, fire. You scare the enemy back. The cries of your weaponry ring true to your craft. Your claws are as sharp as they are big too. Even if the enemy gets past, you will take them out without any difficulty. However, avoid snipers. You are the most prone to snipers.
Chapter 3: Techniques
Prefiring: When going around a corner, fire as the other side becomes visible. Anyone crouching will be decimated by your blows
Corner Rush: ALWAYS approach a corner from the outside. As you get closer to the corner, get closer to the wall. Right before you go around, hug the wall and burst in.
Burst Fire: Fire in sequences by tapping your mouse, rather than holding it down to counter recoil.
Blind Strike: Deliberately flash yourself in a small enclosed area where your enemies are and fire like mad. A desperation move, use only when necessary.
