What makes it so deadly is that it is odourless. You don't realize what's happening, then it poisons your blood by robbing it of oxygen. First you become paralyzed then basically you suffocate.

carbon monoxide is odorless, but something that comes outta that exhaust pipe with the CO smells like toxic crap. itll harm u if u breath it for a long time, and itll kill u if u breath large concentrations of it. u dont die usually cuz the air is mixed with oxygen
