Users appear to reach the Captain Rank after completing the final Rank of Second Lieutenant.
The images for First Lieutenant were incorrect and appeared as if you were a Captain. Users who assumed they completed Captain, received Captain again. The first time you received the Captain rank, you were actually a First Lieutenant.

I noticed a visual difference. There really wasn't a need to change the game, but you can tell who a real captain is because their silver bars are fatter than a 1 lieutenants and in a game, you see what looks like a "P" and an "S" in their badge.

Well, I figured out that already when somone posted something like.
"When you rank up from double bars, you start over from brown again."

Nice, I remember sending you something like this in a help desk message once, glad to see it was takenm care of, I was worried I had done something wrong. It was nice to appear to be a captain without the work, but I would rather earn it. ^_^ as it stends now I guess I am a first lieutenant. =P

oh yea i also saw that the blue major sign is in the 30,000's even though it is suspose to be in the 300,000's could you fix that plz?

Is there really a part of this game that doesnt feel like 1 big glitch?
Whether it be people shooting from behind boxes that only the top of their forehead sticks out or getting immediately kicked off of SF after a game with a prompt that says I pressed ALT and TAB.... I didnt press alt and tab.
Or maybe its the MASSIVE amounts of glitches that are still accessible in glitch heaven "Shanghai". I guess the screenshots ive sent of someone in practically every known glitch havent helped you guys to "fix" the problem.... or even kick the glitcher for that matter.
I would think that after all the down time you have stricken us with you would be fixing the game instead of making random bulls*** more pleasing to the eye.
Soldier Front has the makings of a even more prosperous online FPS but the SAME glitches appearing over and over and over again regardless of how many screenshots I send is becoming frustrating to say the least.
please, fix your game.

this bug has returned. i am a first lieutenant but it shows me as a captain in the waiting room and lobby.

a screen shot of the rank loop that has returned, look at the exp and the rank picture, it doesn't match up.....

The bug only appears in lobbies,
In game, you see the picture normally.

does any1 else hav this problem? I'm a Second Lieutenant with a red background but i hav enough exp to get a yellow background, but everytime i rank up, the pic doesn't change, it stays on red background. Any1 know wat to do?

there is currently a bug of...
you have your rank before the recent maintanence, you rank uo after the maintanance, you close soldier front, you start soldier front, your back to the rank from before the update, play one game, and you rank up, again..

I Have a problem sumthing like this........... autually im a master sargeant now, but when i log in eveery time, my rank is set to private first class. Why???

How about the fact that I was at 150K exp and still Brown Captain? It stayed that way for sometime, my friends tell me the same thing happens at blue and green.

dude i jsut had that problem. i went from staff sergent brown to corporal on my p90. i hope i get 10k at least to maintain my acc >.>
just letting u know there is a typo where u find out what rank u can get and how many points u need, it is the major with a blue background:=p:

I'm currently a green Major, and I have around 335k exp.
If I ranked, I will compared this number: 39180 (given on the site) to the exp when I ranked up to major Blue and try my best to figure out what specifically the exp needed to rank to blue...
But like everyone thinks, it's around 390k
Wish me luck, LOL +REP me now or in the future ^_^

You know what sf should do ... make one big massive update to all the map... if they put their heart into it and just read people's idea and use it for a change .. maybe then sf will be a better place... and if glitchers just get a life and enjoy the game by playing fair who knows maybe more people will join the sf community
you should apply for forum moderators to reply to all those problems people face
