Okay, so this is wierd. before I re-installed my computer, I had about 512mb and gunz was running quite smoothely. but I'm installed 2x512mb and now it's lagging like he-he-he-he-hella much.

can anyone advise me on this? How much RAM do you guys need for Gunz to run smoothely?

Theres more to ram than just the amount you have. You probably got way slower ram than before.

Ram dosen't matter...

As long as you have a decent amount your fine...

Although Vista is impossible to play Gunz on because it lags so bad!!

There's where ram comes in...

And graphics card might be your problem..

I used to have 2 gigs of ram, but then one of my chips fried itself. Now I only have 1.5 gigs XD.

What kind of ram did you put in your comp?

If you're graphic card is extremely good and has enough gddr (memory reserved for the graphic card) you won't need much ram, but still gameguard needs over 200mb to itself.

Core 2 Duo + 4 Gig RAM + Nvidia 8800 GTX = God of Destruction at Gaming! ;)

I know, running gunz with those specs is funny. You don't have time to see the loading screens (even the one when you start gunz) and your ping is over 1000 at max settings.

You can't play Crysis maxed out with that -_-.

You can't play Crysis maxed out with that -_-.

You can play it at 1280x1024 resolution(which is the max possible with my screen) and max settings without lagg. The only thing you can't do is play at insane resolutions that wouldn't be compatible with most screens anyway.

Hence the phrase "maxed out". Not in DX10 with AA at 1280x1024, not with smooth framerates anyways. ^^
