As a new player, I'm not exactly thrilled about this whole 'subscription' thing, especially for graphical things. I can understand it for, say, the V4 upgrade, which affect the mechanics of the game, but for purely visual things like colors, racing stripes, wheels, neon, etc., it should be a one-off payment. I'd be much more satisfied with the purchase, and more likely to purchase other Drift Shop items. I know I speak for others, too, as I've talked to others about the issue before.
Anyways, that's my two cents.

Think of real life... You need to repaint your car... You even have to attend to the parts. Think of how many scratches you get due to the crashes you make in game.

Just because the car is undentable and the paint doesn't appear scratched when you hit things, doesn't mean you do not need to repaint the car every once in awhile...
Maybe, the paint that costs GCoins is a time released paint that turns into a cloud of invisible gas when you run out of time? XD
I have a better one.
GCoin Paints last a certain amount of time... You basically buy enough to autopaint your cars once a day for up to 90 days. Once the last day wears out you lose the color or, your car has the paint under its' hood and it autopaints itself during races and such so you never see scratches!!
