Welcome to Vincents Official Sniper Guide, The following Tips and Hints are stuff I do, and they do help.

The Sniper rifle has a standard recoil, so it would be best if you aimed lower then you wanted to.

Some of the tips I am about to present to you, will help you or friends.
Warning these tips work best on Shanghai.

Camping - A sniper who camps, is fine, as long as they are a good sniper. Always use your own instencts to locat and find oppentents or the target you want. Watch where your teammates fall, and wait. Remmber to use 3RD person view to postion yourself, and remmber to conserve ammo.

Sniper Traits - A true sniper, doesnt go trigger happy at any enemy, A true sniper waits, for the target, patently. Once you see your target, dont shoot, wait him out, Chances are they will not see you, and let them selves out into the open.

Final Target - The Final Targets, are the ones you have fun with. Toy with them, give them warning shots, Lure them out, Or let them go to the target, with the glee of winning, then shoot them.

Ammo - Like I said in one of the Above. Do not waist ammo, Even on running targets, Unless its the final target.

Recoil - The trick to mastering the recoil, is to aim lower then you have to, it helps on Enemys behide crates.

On the Move - If you are a Running sniper, Remmber to take cover from time to time, dont just rush, You will be killed. Only do this, If you are sure you can win.

]Blocking out -[/u] Only listen to your teammates if your a gunner, snipers always die listening to teammates, Dont listen to what they say, Remmber this phrase - Im the sniper, i have control.

Single Player - Single players are easy if you know this guide, find a good area to hide where the most action takes place, and start shooting (DO NOT WAIST AMMO)

Friends and Teammates - If one of your teammates are pinned and ask for help, Dont help them, trust me.. Its a trap to make you leave your post to help them. Dont hesitate to shoot friends.

Sounds good, im a decent sniper. I aggree almost completely with your tips and will recommend it to any new sniper.

I don't agree with the Friends and Teammates one, hen someone asks for help, I usually take the scenic route to them, and at least check if the enemy is still there.

In shanghai everyone runs in the beginning, I know I can kill them, so why not? So what if I miss, I've NEVER used all 30 bullets in a game, 30 bullets is enough to shoot nearly everyone 4 times. You don't even need that many. Single game would be the only reason to conserve ammo. Oh, and vincent, what's ur xfire.

You try to kill the opponent as early as possible if they come close and you absolutely suck at quick sniping you just fail if you wait for them. And it's not hard to hit running targets unless they have a knife out. I'd rather kill running targets than wait for them to kill my team and have 6 of them flank me from everywhere. It's why you have 35 bullets.

anyway I understand what you're saying but in most places you can snipe a running target and have plenty of time to find a spot and reload and get back to attacking. I guess it's just the way you worded it to sound like you shouldn't kill running targets unless it's the last one >.>

If you guys are a heartless type of sniper, (like me), use your teammates as bait. No, don't let everyone die, just draw the enemy out. Every soldier is curious, and they always check if there are more enemies. Thats your que. Oh, ppl... don't take lead. Ever. Trust me on this.

I have 1 more tip for snipers...
When you are reloading, never reload when you have 0 bullets because maybe you need it quickly.
This happened to me in Shanghai and they were waiting for me to reload, just when i reloaded they ran.
Next time i had a bullet left when i were reloading and he ran. Then i changed weapon quickly and shot him.

The secret to a lot of games is to be "cautiously aggressive". An example of this is if you see a sniper ways away take a quick pot shot at him, observe the field quickly, choose where to go for a better angle and next surprise him from there. You need to position and reposition yourself constantly and know when to surprise the guy by simply rushing at close range with the sniper rifle.

Also, when it comes to counter-sniping, it's pretty much whoever is faster, has more precision with his shots and combined with a bit of luck. People who master the quick-scope can easily get leverage in sniper battles.

Also, the way to beat other assault rifle users, SMG users and MG users would be to simply shoot them before they can react. Which is with the quick-scope, you can deal with the recoil from getting hit, but you'll most likely be dead by the time you kill him in close/medium range. Once again, it's all about skill from here as a quick-scoper. That's really the only pro way to use the sniper rifle. The best thing about SF is that it doesn't require you to switch to a weapon and back to rezoom once to the ideal one click quick-scope magnification. With SF all you have to do is zoom in and out since there's just one magnification.

No that's just the noobified way of doing it. True quick-scoping can only be achieved by constant playing and adjusting with a sniper rifle. Eventually, a good sniper will immediantly scope in on where the center is. It isn't marking your computer with a sharpie or anything like that- that's just for people who can't use a sniper correctly and efficiently.

You reload faster when you crouch and then you stand up when it comes to 5 bullets. It skips the hole, tuning the scope or whatever.

I'm a ''different sniper'' each round or game in team. I just kill them, sometimes I hide and wait till they come. Since they know I'm there I go to another place on the next round and fool them and kill them.

I hate glitchers but its a game with bugs so it can't be help.
But for hackers, it isn't a bug it's the abusers who use the hacks and ruin the game.

Hey all. I have a sniping tip that i find works very well especially in Shanghai. If you need to camp for any reason, establish yourself in 1 spot for say 3 to 5 games (i.e. the little boat at the blue base). Then when u pop a cap into some of team A, switch your spot for another few games (i.e. the corridor near blue base beside warehouse B), because when they look for you on the mini boat. u catch them from the side, and pop pop they're dead b4 they kno what hits them. i like putting my sniper inbetween the pole and wall so that u blend in alot more and it's not noticable to most people. just make sure if u use that spot that u have another person cover your left side so noone flanks you.

Alright when you say camping do you mean staying at your base or staying in one area? Because snipers are supposed to kinda wait for them to come to wherever they are, so when people say "STUPID CAMPER" when your hiding it really is stupid because they fell into the trap. Camping isn't always noob sometimes its a tactic.

I thank you for these tips. I don't think of my self as a sniper pro but a pretty experienced sniper. Personally I agree with all of your tips. If you have anymore please tell me. The best way to beomce a better sniper is to know other peoples tactics. My Xfire is: naonoexcuse
