Dear Luminary Players,
As you can tell from the game title- Luminary: Rise of the Goonzu, the position of Goonzu is one that commands great power and respect; though not without responsibility. On February 20th, detailed information about the Goonzu and Ministers will be released, and the final countdown for candidates’ campaigns will commence.
Then on the 27th, players above level 20 will be able to recommend candidates above level 60 to the Goonzu position via the website. Any player with more than 30 votes will be able to continue in the election. If they get enough votes and wish to participate in the election, candidates will then pay the GM 10,000,000[M] via the post office and the complete list of who is running will be announced on the website.
Next, on March 5th, a patch will be added during maintenance which will allow the in-game vote to occur. After this time, any player over level 20 will be able to cast 3 votes (1 per character) for Goonzu candidates, until Sunday, March 9th. At this point the lucky winner will be announced and great celebration and events will take place in game. Candidates who ran and got at least 10% of the vote will then receive a refund of their 10 million[M] fee, so it would be wise to enter the election only if you feel you have a good chance of winning.
The Goonzu will then be free to pick his or her Ministers:
- White Tiger: Controls town settings and picks Guardian Angels to support new users.
- Blue Dragon: Controls the Town Siege and Dark army events.
- Black Tortoise: Controls artisan support fund and bonus exp for manufacturing.
- Phoenix: Controls market tax and automatic price reduction.
- Kirin: Controls prison time for players stealing other players’ monsters, and appoints up to 3 police to help keep watch.
All of the Goonzu benefits, as well as more detailed information about the ministers’ powers will be released on February 20th. In the meantime, start deciding who you would like to vote for, level to 20, and if you want to run, start campaigning and gathering 10 million marbles. We look forward to an exciting election!
