Hello Athena, I am VoiceOfTreason and I am running for GoonZu as many or even most of you reading this already know. My resume includes being a proud Almashan head and a Guild Master for my favorite guild in the game, Genesis :P. You may ask anyone involved in one of these two groups about what kind of job I do for each as I have plenty of people that would brag on me more than I ever would want to myself.
I am running not because I dislike anyone running but because I think I am the best man for the job. At anytime if you see me in game or online you may whisper and ask me anything. I never turn off whispers even when afk, you can consider your whisper a msg waiting on me when I get back at the very least.
About Klimp and me: we have talked extensivly and have found our interests/goals to be very similar and after much consideration (2 hour talk :xd:) we have joined forces and are pressing onward towards our goals together. Klimp will be a part of my Minister Team for all those that were wondering or that would like to know. This was a big step towards both of us changing this server for what we think is the better and also holding true to what we feel is already good about this game.
I am not "selling" minister spots but am talking with people that have extensive knowledge about the game. You can be assured that these ministers will be the best person possible for the job as I have thought about their activity, dedication to a better server, desire to help others, and availablity while online. These people will also span the entire map as I would like opinions from other towns beside my own.
I don't want you wasting 30 minutes reading this post so I will try to make the rest short:
-White Tiger-
The WT chair will be a hard one to fill if I was GoonZu. This player will be constantly asking players what they think about us and also polling in the forums. This person should be able to be a friend that can listen to all. Guardian Angels choices will be made by the WT but will not be his friends nessecerily but will be knowledgable players that want to help. WT chair will also work with all other chairs telling them what the players want...for example he could take a poll for the GoonZu asking about when bonus time should be or for the Blue Dragon asking what times Dark Army should be. This player will also help in an ongoing guide project that will help players way after we are gone from leadership in the future and will take suggestions to put in the guide for anything you really have a problem with involving gameplay/quests/buildings/etc.
-Blue Dragon-
This should be a fun person that is always looking to make the game more fun for all. We cant powergame all the time! Sometimes we want a break from the normal training/mat farming and this is the guy to talk to about any special event ideas you have. He is also the guy to coordinate these events. Be creative and discuss it with him.
-Black Tortise-
This will be a skilled artisan that understands manufacturing well and wants other manufacturers to do well because he is one of them. The BT will work with the White Tiger on showing people how to focus on one skill more than others so that there can be better weaps/equip in the game. I would like my goal to be the same as the BT's...PG/MG available on the market because manufacturers boost their skills and make more of them. The BT should also be able to answer any questions you have about manuf and will be available to answer them for everyone.
-Phoenix-
This person is one that is smart with money and knows how to make it XD. He also must have good instincts when it comes to the market as he and I will be watching it daily for positive/negative changes and how to fix them. In the future this Minister chair will help us with the transition once the TradePort comes out. This person will also listen to any ideas that you all have concerning market prices etc.
-Kirin-
The Kirin wants fairplay and dislikes those that do not play by the rules. He and his policeman (much like the White Tiger's Angels) that he picks will watch the server and make sure all obey the law. His presence brings an order to everything around him. The Kurin and his police should also be spread out in order to help the maximum amount of people in Athena. If you suspect anyone of not playing honorably the Kirin can help with that.
Okay just a few more things to discuss if you havent fallen asleep yet:
-Fourleafs-
As of right now I dont want fourleafs to waste anyones time in game trying to get them or probably not get them lol. I as GoonZu will sell a majority of fourleafs everyday on the market at different times and return the money back to the federal funds for later. The other Fourleafs will be used in different events that the Blue Dragon will coordinate or for rewards for people that truely seem to want and help our gaming community such as people that help answer posts on the forums, help with the guide, or anyone seen helping others in game just because they want to help. The money made from the fourleafs will be donated to towns on a regular basis EVENLY based on number of people in the town. This will help to get towns hunting grounds, party halls, horse markets, etc faster. No1 that buys a fourleaf off the market will waste it unless they are crazy and even the newest players that can one hit Senile tigers can make a lot of money from buying these off the market at lower prices they will fall to.
Max Residents, wallace,lvl 20 settings,Pshops,etc will all stay the same for now until we hold a vote on the forums because many people have told us they would like to change one of the above.
Also I have already started trying to talk to Dak about fixing a few quest that are really missleading because of grammer, confusing words, or just unclear. I think this would help new players a lot.
I really didnt want to list everything here but I think it very important to know exactly what you are going to get if I am GoonZu. I hope by reading this you can tell what my main two goals are: 1.) player education on how to get further in the game and 2.) The great people of this game choosing, to some extent, what they would like in this game
