Dear Ijji, Let me report hackers.

Ok, so I am sure we are all aware of the annoying report sytem.

So this is a message to the GM's about it, more of a petition really.

What kind of a system is it where it is so hard to report hackers that it deters common users from actually taking down the hacking community?
Don't you think it's kind of unfair that to help out Ijji we have to take a recording which can't be done in quests which is where hackers are most commonly found and then go through a long laborious process to finally report a hacker and not even get a response back to see if all of our hard work has even paid off?

Could you guys somehow devise a sort of system that would make it easier for everybody to report hackers and HELP out ijji? Give us some of your time and it'll all pay off for you. Now I know that this may be harder than I know and I am ignorant to this but surely, people who can create and upkeep a game would have the skills and capabilities to create a simple reporting system?

Here are some of my ideas:

A simple system where we could type in /report (username) an automatic recording is then taken for an alloted amount of time and is then sent to ijji. (easy right)

Another way could be, we record a hacker, go to replays have an option which is "send" then we send it to Ijji and title it " (username) hacking.



Would that not help the community of gunz by making it a lot easier for hackers to be deterred from hacking?
Wouldn't that be a benefit to Ijji? Rather than tainting the community of gunz you will be making it an easier place to navigate and have it possible to enter a quest and not be asked "hacks?"

they used to have a /report function in game but to many people abused it people of so called "hackers" when they just was better so they removed it

Perhaps guidelines could be implemented on hacking or a guide of "how to tell someone hacks"

12% of ijji people read the forums so about 5% of all gunz players actually read the forum, and people will still abuse it for the sake of it

Hmm, but how about those things on the messages like when it says "use the optimisation feature for better game play" when it's loading, there could be a list or some such? and there could be something about "users found abusing the hack report system will get a temorary ban" or something like that, that ought to deter a few people.

Well....if you start killing eveyone. People will think you hack when you don't. It is just like Soldier Front. When a pro dies from a noob. The pro calls him a hacker and reports him/her. That too, without any evidence that they are hacking.:wink:

It would be so much easier if we could record in quests.. To report a hacker in quest you have to record using fraps and then send it to ijji right? Well that's kind lame. Would be so much easier if we could record.
