PlusMinus minor quest faq

Even thought im aware of the fact, that tons of quest faqs are out there already
i want to deliver a few hints, that seem usefull to me, and might as well be to you.
This is not a "how to" guide, but simply a few things that work out for me.
This is the very first version, so it's not as precise as it could be yet.

Basics:

1. Any "ritual" way of killing npc's (headshot, sword kill, so on) does not influence the drop rate.

2. Kicking people out of greed, won't get you a higher chance to get the items, items get divided.
as if it was the starting party, so if you kick someone, you only get a chance, that an item gets lost entirely.
This should lead you to the conclusion, that you should only kick people if you realy have too.

3. You don't have to ask for your ping, you always see people at the ping, they see you at, since ping shows in this case
how "good" your connection is, to that perticular player.
For example, if you see someone with a ping of 150, and ask him, for your ping, he's gone tell you, that your ping is
at 150.

4. Every player "hosts" a part of the npc's, in a 4 people party, 1/4 for example, hence 3/4 of the monsters move
with the ping, you see the players at.
I don't try to lead or anything like that anyway, but... well, at least it's worth a sitenote.
If someones leaves for whatever reason, the remaining npc's get divided among the remaining team.
(if i'm wrong on that, someone might just tell me)

5. I strongly belive that npc's don't have hitzones(like headshot zone for example) even thought i'm not a 100%
sure about that, i would suggest, to not aim for the head, since your likely to use an mg, and throughout
the spray, i expect quiet a few shots to miss if you aim for a smaler part of the npc body.

6. This should be clear, but when you pick up ammo ups while you use your meele weapon, they automaticly get assigned
to your "first slot" weapon.

Advanced quest movements:

I know there are a lot of K-/D-Style guides out there, and some of them are realy well writen, so i not gone
write another guide here, but anounce, what moves come in handy for me in quest.
Just look them up in the style section

1. Wall cancel
It realy comes in handy in dungeon for example, when you wanna climb the staires without passing the crowed on the platform
and it's not that hard to learn.

2. Butterfly or some serious dagger skills
You realy should learn how to handel a meele weapon, because otherwise, at bossfights the latest, you gone be out
of ammo at some point.
I think it is easier to learn to bf, than realy handling a dagger, and i realy aprecciate the defensiv skills of a sword.
Its easier to bf, when you use left click for slash and rightclick for block.
(By the way, i gone go on, with suggestions for sword tactics, since i simply don't use daggers, and can't be of
help there.)

3. Turtle
When you get strug by a crowed, it's pretty much the only way to get out alive.
Rapidly hiting the block button tends to save your live when you are stuck.
Than bounce of and dash away, till you got a hold of the stituation again.

4. Be able to switch between meele and gun quickly
I have sword on Q and mg on E.
Your legal to thumble sometimes in quest, but you shouldn't run around with your gun all the time, because it makes you
easy to hit and slow paced.
A quick switch and a dash to the side, gets you out of npc's range.

5. As you come to notice, heavy weapons reduce your running speed.
What helps to make up for this a bit, is jumping around, while shooting.
(not thumbling, just jumping in any direction)
This way, you still can aim pretty precise without being all that slow.

6. Slashshot is realy helpfull too.
When you are in a situation, were you have to move fast(Dungeon 41 5/5 for example)
It helps you to land a few hits without getin run over by the mob.

7. Zig-Zag-Walk (i don't think anyone ever claimed it as a technik and named it, so i just use this as a "working titel")
When you are at open range, like dungeon 13 5/5, you can do a zig-zag dash, what pretty much keeps you from getin hit ever.
Dash straight, than left, than straight while facing a bit to the right, left again, so on.
My control is A W S D, so it would be W W, A A, W W, A A, so on.(you might as well dash to the right, A A just works better for me)
It's a decent way to engage mages and so on, when you are at low health.

Equipment suggestions:

Since your likely to use heavy weapons, your likely to have to cut down on the armor.
Gloves and shoes go first, since they have the best weight/ap ratio.
Rings have a decent hp/weight ratio too(i always would go for hp rings, i use the lvl 20 8hp/2 weight rings, since
there ratio is just to good).
I chose meds over armor, since i strongly believe, that you are better of with 70-80 hp on meds, than with a 20 ap on
an armor, you can get for the same weight.
With the weight thats left over, get a pare of pants, because girl-chars underwear looks realy stupid...

Im ingame usualy to be contacted as PlusMinus in quest 1 or 2.
Suggestions/corrections are welcome.
