A Guide for Selling Cars

Hmm due to the update of selling cars, I'm making a guide on price of cars(in my opinion). I'll be only doing class price and selected car price. And of course these upgrade are to V9. If you think about it, you can get the price for other V upgrade by how much G-coins you are spending.

V1s
They should go about 1mil ~ 1.5 mil due to the cause of the market price of (G-coins), and because there isn't a special car that is popular.

Special Case:
Only special case is the V1 Kicker which I've only see one individual using (DragoslaV). Another special case might be the V1 Drifter, which I've seen few of, only people I know of using are CatchJr, and AJANGSTA. If they are that popular you can increase the price range to about 1.1~1.5mil. Not a slight increase but you still get some profit.

V2s
Well here we have the class of the popular Comet, and MMT1 (in SR). In my opinion, most of the V2 cars should go about the same price as the V1s, except lower because you don't have to buy much G-coins to get there to V9.

Special Case:
V2 Comet: Due to it's popularity many people believe it's market price is about 6mil+. Well for me it's overpriced. Why not just buy 500 G-Coins? Would probably cost less than 6mil. In my opinion, it's price is about 4~5mil. (SR: 6~7mil according to QueenHarry)
V2 MMT1: Well, only person that have used this car is waphou, and Ryoko (spelling my be incorrect), and since I've heard from sources, there are many in SR, and so I believe the price should be about 2~2.5mil.

V3s
Well nothing special here, only cars here I've seen V9'd is the Muse. The price should be about 800~1mil.

V4s
Class of the popular Spotlight, and several others. I think this class can be sold for 700~1mil. Other than that there's nothing really special here.

Special Case:
Well as you see, many durability cars are in this class, and since there are several V9 Spotlights out there, the price should be about 1~2mil (this is for Spotlight and Village).
Edit: Well due to a push by many players, the Maxi has been adde do the Speical Case. Since there are players like karmakilla, Vietkaos, and many others driving this car, it has suddenly become a "special" cas. So I think the price of this car should be around 1~2mil.

V5s
Hmm there are several cars here that are popular like the newly released Fairplay, the rocket, Rotary, and the good old Supra. The rest aren't used much so the price for this class should be around 700~1mil.

Special Case:
Many people have seen Atreyu use the Above, and many have just liked the cars, and so this car is popular for both the high levels and the middle levels. This car should go around for 1mil~1.5mil.
Another car that is a good hype is the Fairplay, since many people love it's good stats, this car you might be able to sell for 1.5~2mil.
And finally the final special case is the Rotary, since it has a really really really really really, have I mention really, a good boost time, many people believe it's the longest boost car without the boost time parts. It can probably sell for 2~2.5mil.

V6s
This is a really popular class as there are many people using the Fondo, Celio, Impact, and the rest. This class can probably sell for 2~3mil.

Special Case:
Impact. It has good stats, and there are many in SR. This car has the highest V9 stats in the game (last time I checked). There are also quite a few people using this car such as Chaos (from Jezree, and used it before), Blind, and several others. This car can probably go for 2.5mil~3mil.

V7s
Well...there aren't many cars in the V7 class since there hasn't been any updates for them, but if there are cars releasing in this class, it would probably price range for 2.5mil~3mil.

Special Case:
Well if you want a cheap Comet, than the Tiger is your option. This is due to it's similar acceleration, this car was a hit before everyone started to use the Comet. This car can probaly go for 3~3.5mil.

V8s.
Well there are only 3 cars in the class, so it'll only sell for `1~2mil.

Special Case:
Ruby. Simply put, it's probably the most desired car in the game for users getting used to the game and also pros. This car can probably sell for 2.5~3mil (with kit of course). This may also cause the increase on Ruby coupons.

V9:
Edit: Well since Auctioning Cars has been available, I made a mistake with the V9 prices. Well most of you should know by now that most can be sold for 500-800k. :)

Well there you go, my opinion of the market price, you can use it as your guide to sell or you can completely ignore it. I gave a bit of my insight on selling cars, the decision is you to take it into your consideration or just ignore it completely and sell with you own price. Of course I have to say thanks for reading this lengthy post of mine (for once). Haha, well good luck. :)

Well in SR, they get their money faster than we do...all we have to get money is Battle Zone, Deliveries, HUV, and comboing for a very long time. We don't have options like they do, but I'm sure in time, the price will drop. :S

At v4's, you forgot to add the MPM CC on speacil case. I bet it will worth around 1.6mill.
The rotary, I thinkt he price would be the same as the fairplay.I doubt that this boost crazyness last forever.
I don't think that those v6's would worth that much, maybe the others around price (1~2mill). The impact, 3mill for sure.
Tiger will NEVER EVER be that expensive. Maybe 2.5mill. And the other v7 releasing, the spirit, I bet it can reach 5mill...
About v9s... There's a lot of unhappy stock v9 users. I bet the stock v9s will worth around 500k, while the nevera around 1.5mill.

You forgot to add, on that market thing, the fact that old cars must be cheaper than at dealership. There's no reason to buy a arena for 1.5mill if I can have one for 1.3mill. Also, some cars will just keep a bit higher than the dealership sellling price, since there's a lot useless of then (I'd put tiger here, for the first weeks).

Yeah that's true, but you have to consider the coupon price of the cars for natural V9s. Like the Torero's coupon is like 300-400k... and the car is like 1mil. Add them up and you get a total of 1.3~1.4mil. :S

Uhhh I think I meant as in, people who are selling cars, should include the price of the coupon.

Example: V6 Impact is 150k, the coupon is worth like 40~60k, add the upgrades which should be aboue 1~1.5mil (buying of G coins), and you get the total of 1.2~1.7mil (since it's V9).

I disagree, the Drifter is like an Impact, but a few points lower acc and speed.
The Metro is like a Utopia, but with better handling.

After the update thing, now comets v9 are going for and average of 2m - 3m mitos. Any conclusions formed yet? Unless u sell a comet v9 for 5 -6m, I aint gonna be convinced of the price which you gave. The Audi r8 is going to be way more common than comets. (That is what i predict, believing it is your choice:D)

It depends on the car lolx. v9 Comet can cost 2 - 3m while for example, OMDss v9 can cost like what? 1m? I am not even sure of the price but I think you have got the point. The point is, common cars like the comet can be worth more. (even though URe3 is gonna own it soon after =.= ) Cars which more drivers go after like the comet will be worth more cause there are more bidders and such. :=p:

Good work but you gotta do a lot of corrections. All those prices are subjective, i personally think all are overpriced, nobody would buy a Gigas for 1.5m nor a Utopia for 1.6m. The coupons have became worthless since the car prices are very competitive, as Ruby is being sold for 520-700k so that nobody now buys coupons.

Another point to correct: Cars CAN'T be sold with b.kits or any other gcoin/drift item nor parts.

Comets and Pandas are the most expensive cars out there and they are sold for 2-3m so i think 4m is pretty much of a lot for a car ;)

Take my opinion as a constructive criticism, i don't want to flame your or something like that, just help you build a good topic :)

nice guide but i think the prices are way low.. Any normal v9 should be sold for atleast 1m(considering the fact that the buyer no longer needs the coupon). Upgraded v9 cars should be based on how much they are upgraded. I think anything upgraded from v1-v9 should cost about 2-3mil (since it costs $50USD and are pretty rare). The same goes for most v2-v9 and any extremely popular v9, such as the impact, or tiger(because those would be in high demand). Any other upgraded v9 should be selling for 1.1-2mil(since they are upgraded, some would have a coupon requirement normally, and anything over v5 starts out costing over 100k)

As for things upgraded to v8.. i believe 600-850k is a good price range depending on the car.

Basically, what ever you feel you should be able to get, or how ever much the car is worth to you, is what your asking price should be. Keep in mind there should always be room for negotiations and there is a 10% fee just to put it up on auction(aka 100k for every 1million).


OH yea and 1 more thing.. FLAMING PEOPLE ON THEY'RE OWN THREAD, IN THE AUCTION HOUSE, OR TRYING TO THWART THEY'RE ATTEMPS TO SELL SOMETHING, IS CONSIDERED HARASSEMENT( :busted:MESTEREN:busted: ) opinions are 1 thing but save them for ingame or send the person a pm. And you shouldnt be posting on any car/part auctions unless your looking to make a deal with that person. Other threads might turn into flame wars, but lets all atleast be respectful of others in the AH forum!!!

You mean 5,000 mito for G Coin? Not 50,000 as you posted?

I do 4,000 mito per G Coin and it's worked out very well for me.

1 G Coin = 4k mito.
50 G Coins = 200k mito.
500 G Coins = 2 mil mito.

V9 Comet is exactly 500 G Coins.

Those are examples.


Edit:

Plus, you forgot to add the values of the cars into those amounts.
For example, upgrading a V8 to a V9 and selling for less than 1mil would make you lose out on lots of mito.
