Ok so this isnt a pro guide with lots of different colors and stuff but,this person i was playing missle with taught me not ro rush through the smoke produced by a smoke grenade but to distract the room with it,he took me to a private room and showed me everyone focuses on the smoke like sum1s fixing to rush through it and start spraying,but he smokes a path and get all enemies hopes up then goes the back bath and thru the back door and shoots 'em in the back,just sharing..:thumbsup:

It's pretty good advice, but being an Ak-74 and M-16 user, I don't always wait. In my experience, sometimes they throw a smoke grenade just to intimidate you, or use it as a distraction to hide or reload in saftey. What I like to do, is if I know where some of them are, is let them throw a smoke nade, and within a second or two after it has gone off, just rush in and mow them down. I have often caught people off guard that are so shocked at the fact that I came through the smoke that they don't react in time, and I just wipe em' out.

However, if I am very unsure of the number of enemies on the other side of the veil of smoke, or know there are 2 or more just waiting, I will wait for them to come out in the open. There is a very thin line between charging to surprise the enemy and rushing into a trap.

It depends on the map. In a place like nerve gas it's perfect for blue team. Throw a smoke, send some guys to the back while you camp. If they stay you go in and kill them. If they run, hide in the smoke anyway and kill them as they go by.

Hm....it depends whether you are the one to throw the grenade, or the one to recieve it's effects.Here's a quick guide:

Throwing the smoke grenade: When using a smoke grenade, I find that throwing it on/around the objective (such as Kina, Gas, Hospital, etc) is one of the best ways to use it. Since it comes with only one pack, use it wisely and sparingly. Another way to throw a smoke grenade would be at SHANGHAI. The best way to counter snipers when you're NOT a sniper is to throw the smoke grenade directly in their path. This may take a while, but it'll be well worth it. Once the sniper gets blinded, quickly run to the sub. NOTE : NEVER throw a smoke grenade at a bomb objective. This will notify surrounding opponents that you're trying to do something fishy, and they'll come running. In packs.

Recieving the smoke grenade: When somebody throws a smoke grenade at you and you're NOT a sniper, my best recommendation would be to rush the thrower before the grenade explodes. If he/she is with teamates, get rid of them first, because it takes the thrower some time to switch from his grenade to his weapon. This ensures that you take out one or two people AND you get rid of any reason for the thrower to use his smoke. Usually, I would not recommend standing in the smoke grenades and firing, because it obstructs your view and people can still guess where you are by waving their mouse over the smoke (red name pops up). When someone throws a smokie at a mission objective, immediantly secure a wide perimeter around it and wait for said thrower to pop out with the objective. Easy kill right there. Oh yeah, do not rush into the smoke grenade when it's already blinding you. It'll just let them have a free kill, because there are almost certainly someone standing on the other side of the smokie, just waiting for you to pop out.

Anyways, just some random tips I've come to use as a smokie thrower and as a reciever of smokies.

:sf1: :sniper: :sf2: heres some other tips. if a guy throws a smoke, before it explodes, throw a nade at him. most of the time, he will be concentrating so much on his smoke and trying to blind you that he will die in the nade explosion, if this fails, whip out ur gun(not recommended sniper) and wait behind a wall or something. then when he comes outta smoke(maybe) he will look around and be puzzled at why the nade thrower is not there, then get him while hes distracted POW hes dead.

yeah pretty funny i even seen ppl try to throw smoke grenades at me
but i think SGrenades are best for distractions for a lilttle for time to think
in a line of fire

Well, certainly, I have to admit that many people have various ways of using weapons. For me, I would apply whatever when necessary and I do experiment them out - just a few deaths is nothing to me. And no player can possibly do without skills. Do contact me over Private Messaging for some strategies.
