I've notice several times people having 500+ ping. Most of the time these guys can pop around a corner shoot you till you die, before they even pop around a corner to you.

The problem is with theire computer... not that they're hacking. They're lagging like hell so all they can do is hope to find someone and kill him.

Xelloss, as realist as that is, you should at least be sympathetic. Installing another server would DEFINITELY eat out some of the latency.

Since I'm playing in England right now I have a pretty bad latency, of around 200ish but I don't feel it detrimentally affects my game too much apart from wasting too many bullets on people that are already going to die just haven't done so yet on my screen.

Having a large ping is not a bug, though sometimes it can hurt gameplay a lot. The addition of the new servers should help this problem greatly.

Odd, since most of the 500 ping'ers I've met were japanese and korean. Why dont they just play on their own SF?
It has angered me since the days of gunster.

i thought they had an IP block on them tho... i read if from a GM post few days ago
