ever heard of "normal" style

it seems to me that a lot of newbies are using k-style or spreading, me, personally i'm also a newbie but I just play the game, sure I could key mash to get kills but the fun would be gone, what's the fun in key mashing?

well the fact that i'm on a laptop with a mousepad makes it hard to do k-style or srpreading or any style for that matter because I need to use my pad to view and it freaking sucks trying to shot or slassh someone who's mashing, I mean how the crap am I going to shoot a player who's jumping around like he's got something up his butt? :confused:

Playing Gunz with a pad? sounds interesting, but then again you'll propably end up e-styling all the way, and have more negative thoughts about k-styling.

....Or! you could manage to find a unique button configuration and become an expert on k-styles, master triple bf, and heck maybe create new moves yet unknow to the keyboard+mouse system.

well I was thinking of using the same configuration as the DOT Hack games on ps2 for the logitech controller in GunZ, using the right analog sick for view and the left to move and possible the right trigger for reseting the camera, if GunZ can do that

You can thank the people posting guides to the styles for the ever growing amount of rookies being able to do even half the crap listed. Personally, I'd rather it be like the old days, where you had to learn it for yourself. Not sit there, read up some guide and literally get spoon fed the goods.

I doubt anyone could actually learn the keys to any move from any style, with out soemone telling them. Like k-style moves have alot of glitches in them for example, butterfly. The blocking in the move cacnels the animation of the slash wich will make u land on the ground faster, emaning it caels half of the jump animation. How would a rookie figure that out? im jsut saying though, ure style of learnign would take over a year to jsut master 1 measly thing form k-style.

people use the term estyle for just "regular" playing. its basically the lack of k-style when using a katana or kodachis

with k-style, its not learning the key combos, its when and where to use them moves that make it effective.

This needs to stop. Ijji and Maiet both have announced when gunZ first came out that, you can't use a controller pad or joy stick when playing gunZ. It won't accept it, just like using wndows vista, true some can play using that, but normally not.

Its pretty easy to k-style on a laptop for me. I don't have the best aim with my pad of course, but I'm good enough to get kills with it.
