This is a thread to discuss equipment configurations as they pertain to your gameplay. Talk about your gear and what your purposes are for it, as well as ways to improve and enhance different game styles.
I'll start off:
For closing the space between targets or pickups, as well as defense, I have a sword. Basic utility for me, as I don't make use of any K-style moves.
My current setup uses an Assault Rifle for my main source of damage. I favor getting distance on the target and popping off a few wellplaced shots to the brain pan, and rifles give that kind of accuracy.
Obviously in GunZ, fights are going to occur closequarters. That's where my Shotgun comes in. Great for breaking down turtlers and k-stylers, as well as groups or firefights in corridors. This is my backup for when the AR is out of ammo.
I also have flashbangs merely for diversion purposes. Every so often in the middle of a fight, i'll need to reload but have little protection to do so. Plop down a FB and it buys me enough time to ammo up and get back into the fray. Even if it doesn't blind my opponent, seeing it rolling on the floor is usually enough to make them go away for a few seconds. :)

I use multiple characters with extremely varied equipment on them. I can go through a few of my main ones here.
-Naru-: Primarily Demolitions/Explosives
Character: Female- I know it doesn't have any added bonuses anymore, but the fluidity of the motions make it more visually comfortable. Also since they are smaller in height and width, theres a larger viewspace.
Clothing: High AP Boots and Gloves only- Due to weight constraints, I am unable to get more than that so I have the lighter-weight and higher defense gloves/boots to make up for it. Also useful into making the enemy believe you have no AP and are an easy target.
Melee: Sword- Preferably low delay + weight and high damage. Useful in close-quarters fights to get away faster.
Primary Weapon: Rocket (High ammo/clip size, low damage)- Used to do the most damage. Strategically used by hitting walls and corners to do the most damage. When doing combination moves like slashshot, the primary weapon.
Secondary Weapon: (Low ammo/clip size, high damage)- Used in combination with the primary weapon in the "Double Rocket" method of shooting multiple times with low delay. Also used as main damage makers when the target is clear.
Primary Accessory: Medkits- Neccessary because I DO have less defense than most others.
Secondary Accessory: Grenades-Strategically thrown to do the most damage. Adds to the "explosives focus" of the character.
Primary and Secondary Rings: Both add HP to add to the "Weak looking" effect.

well depends if the quipment is premium or not, my equip is msotly premium.
im based on high ap and lil hp. to get as much ap and as less wieght used is good thing, atm im 97ap/112 hp and about 95 weight.
i wear mix n match sets from gunners presit desert flame and gray dust. there the sets with the hgihest ap. hp i dont mind. i use 2x lvl 30 ap rings, and x enchant element. i dotn use nades/meds but if ever i will, i can remove my enachant and equip either. basicly my equipment set up is: high ap gear, low weight, and double sg.

Agh, forum errors for the lose. :(
I am contemplating swapping the flashbangs out for grenades, but i'm not entirely sure yet. Is the damage and radius on grenades worth packing in your opinion? Or would a free reload be more deserving of the slot?

Depending on what you plan on doing. I enjoy the high-damage the grenades do, but in cases where I have no ammo spawns, I feel its better to have more clips.

Best way to setup your character:
1)Equip Rings(Preferably not +3 weight bounty ring, because +10ap/2weight is better than any armor peice you got)
2)Equip Sword/Weapons
3)Equip the rest of your armor
4) use any extra weight to add items(Nades/Meds), or to add a little extra Hp/Ap.

I'm a d styler so...
Melee : Dagger
Weapons:
These include either a shotgun-shotgun combo, Revolver - Shotgun combo, Revolver - Rifle combo, or Revolver - Revolver combo.
I personally enjoy using the shotgun-shotgun combo in fights. If i want to train my aim a bit, I use the Revolver-Rifle combo. If I want to train my aim a bit and I enter a game full of spray, I use Revolver-Rifle. If I want a challenge, I use Revolver-Revolver. By the way, Revolvers are the higher damage type pistols.
