Think GB needs a replay function?

A replay function would be really great...and it be so much easier to deal with hacks once we have a replay function. the user can just simply send in the replay and the hacker would have nothing to say. Like a function at the end of each game that would say would you like to save this replay....it be simply and easy for the user to use. =D

I know its not that easy..but try your best to install a function like this..it will be good for the long run:thumbsup:

I guess the only problem is it would be on all the time for all the games. Would lag up games. Maybe if they made it turn off-able by master...and maybe a lvl restriction like battle axe and up...something so not everyone is recording media. Great idea tho...i'd like an instant replay with commentary on shots dealt over 800.

thats awesome, it should be implemented into gb.. and it should be the same way as the screenshot (videos inside your gunbound folder) so you can keep those video, example for fun, or for hacking report :D

For most bots its pretty hard especially avatar off. I assume your kal numbers are avatar on...through one or two forces.

:lolz: Yea, I see kal do 1k plus...but keep in mind not everyone who plays GB is super-pro. I'm lucky if I break 800! :=p:

And not everyone plays avatar on either. Only time I ever got over 1k with kal on avatar off was on sea of hero when 3 forces were up, I got 1359dmg I remember I have screenshot somewhere ima post it later.

maybe F12 could start/stop a video and it would send it to your gb folder in the form of ur set media player

That is a good idea. I wonder how many of you guys plays Starcraft. Then, you would know Starcraft saves a replay automatically when a game ends. I hope Gunbound can implement something like that.

ITs like this....in WCIII you have a save replay function...it auto saves the last replay of your last game.....or and the end of each game it takes you to a manu ....and there is a button to save the replay....and the replays are saved into a folder..in WCIII .....but since gunbound is a simpler game....you can have a pop up screen in game asking you if you wish to save replay!!....

I strongly advice ijji to implant think function as It would cut back on at least half of the hackign reports and make the hacking cases easier to deal with...as all the user have to do is send a replay...and there is nothing he can say to deni it...So GM_D plzz read this and give me a reply..=D

Yea because I've seen lags from someone taking a screenshot, that last about 2 mins... But an autosave rec. program would be bad because it'd have to be recording while you're shooting ALL THE TIME, in order for you to replay something. It's not like you know you're about to do 3k damage and then do record... But yea again... too much lag already in gb. People just need to get fraps.

I think this is a great idea...plus people who are always accused of aimbotting (people still accuse me -.-) can prove instantly that they dont!! Not to mention...full version fraps isnt free, if I'm correct...so this would be nicer for people who dont have the funds to shell out.

But I also agree that the lag might not make it worth it...if they can figure out a way to make this possible without creating more lag...this would be pro business :thumbsup:

I agree with JenniE, but I would just stick to fraps for now because any major additions such as this to the game will cause many weeks/months of little errors that will cause servers to go down for fixes, and I hate server updates. They never meet the time they set down nor do they truley fix one thing without having another thing going wrong.

I'd really like this!!! I think it'd be really cool if say the room master could pick and choose between different types of replays

As in:
800+dmg
Dk
Super High Angles

...or even almost anything.

The replays would be played right back after the specified shot happened. I could picture Replay coming up on the screen and you'd see the replay in slow mo (not too slow...dont wanna slow down gameplay too much)...and plus they'd get a replay bonus of 50+ gold or somehting like that. Again depending on the shot difficulty.

i think that it would be c00l cause then if u did a bad azz move, shot or stragey then u could save it and watch it over and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over.

lol...i was thinking more of....for reporting hackers....and yes....it be cool...if you did a double killl and want to save a replay.....as a screen shot is lame....staring at a picture just doesnt cut it.
