i want to start making sigs but i need some tips.... i dont have enough money to get photoshop but i use gimp it is pretty good but if any one can tell me how to make reflections of the cars and how to make backgrounds.. that would be nice.. and just give me some tips please...

Don't search for reflection. Sign up on the UNITY forums, and look in the tips and tricks section. I have a reflection tutorial to beat all reflection tutorials.

not many people are fan of wut i'm going to say now but I Will:
Most people will say: check some tuts and after that try your own thing. (that works fine)
but you can also ask someone or download a psd.. then try to figure about what that guy actually did to make that sig. it's kinda hard, but that's why you will learn more then just watching a tut in my opinion.

I'll disagree (but wouldn't say that I'm not a fan).
Its a good technique, yes, but would only do you good if you're trying to learn a specific technique. Tutorials are much more effective (IMO) because a comprehensive tutorial will not only teach you the technique, but will also teach you other different techniques which you can learn further down the road. As compared to when you're looking at the PSD alone, I might have used a filter that he doesn't know about, etc.

yea i kno how to make reflection with text.. but i dont kno how to make relfections with cars

If you wanna make a car reflection, you can either spend a billionty hours trying to disproportion it, and then have a somewhat okay reflection, or take a pic of the car from the bottom, and not spend a lot of time on it. This is for angled cars though.
PS: Same principles apply for text reflections and anything else you wanna reflect. So long as its perpendicular to the "ground"
