a question about the no 3rd party programs

ok well i heard u can get banned for usung winamp (which is bullcrap) so im wondering can i get banned for using window media player because i dont want to hear that stupid cheesy music gunz has.

3rd party programs usually refers to any programs that actually do stuff to the game.
Otherwise, you'd be banned for running explorer.exe

Plus I've been running WMP for like 2 years on gunz, so I don't think it's a bannable offense.

Correct, 3rd party program is a program that affects the game itself someway.

I have used Winamp too couple of times and I don't they're so stupid in MAIET/IJJI to ban for listening to music while playing? :p They do know what winamp is so I doubt anyone has been banned for that.

To be honest... winamp is a music player... It's like saying "Third party program, you cannot use IE, Firefox, or any browser then our own to view our site!" Granted I suppose that the whole... 3rd party program... dunno did you have something that announced in game that a certain tune comes up, that's effecting the game I suppose... hmm.

WinAmp, Media Player, whatever, is what they should make fine for use.

Anything that modifies the game, itself, should be taken offence against. Example mostly being; Mouse Rebinder.

Music Players don't affect the games ways. It just affects the person.
If they didn't want us to listen to other music players, they'd take away the BGM Mute option.

Well we are aloud to use Xfire and Vent during which DO affect gameplay. So why wouldn't you be able to use a music play such as itunes or windows media player. The only things you can't use is hacks or anything that gameguard may think is a hack.

Music also affects your gameplay, but not the game itself.
If your winamp would make the walls invisible, then it would affect the game itself, by giving an unfair advantage and then would be a proper reason to ban you, which winamp or Windows Media Player or any other music application doesn't do.

So there is point to disallowing it

You're not allowed to browse ijji forums while you're playing ijji games. That's also using 3rd party programs.

Or maybe the admins are jealous that we have better music!

I never close the game when I'm having a break, I just minimize it and check out forums, talk with friends etc.
