This could be due to the lack of RAM (Random Access Memory).
How much RAM do you have on your computer?

how do we figure that out? lol

One way to check your RAM is in your control panel under the Performance and Maintenance category. Once you're there, click system, and a popup of your system's properties should come up. In that window, it'll tell you how much RAM you have.

Make sure that your graphics match the qualifications of the game, or update your graphics card with the latest driver, that should remedy any rendering issues. This is speculation.

but you people also need to remember that some people cant afford a 60 dollar stick of memory (price verys on computer model)

and 2gb its hard to come buy unless you or your parents have the money

and most of ours dont

is why we play the free games

I just meant to check the driver requirements. (Usually games SHOULD list the minimum requirements driver wise and will give a link to the website of your chip maker. So far I haven't found any requirements for Drift City, so I have updated my graphics driver.)

this rarely hapened before the patch where they pop up the poll when you exit the game

but now its frequent.

Aquakc

To me, it sounds like a graphics card error. I'm guessing any 2D graphics (for example - HUD images, possibly chat).

As for lack of RAM, I do not think it's that; DirectX notifies you with a popup and closes the game when you run out of RAM that it can use.

Well, windows immediately tries to free up virtual memory, so I can keep playing, but it just slows down the computer horribly.

Every hour or hour and a half I play, I log out, reset my computer and log back in.

hmm... I never crashed / bluescreened until now , it's your computers fault!

Moi? O_o

I don't think so, I just think it's probably some bugs in the memory management of the code, probably in the dump line or something like that.

2gb of ram really isnt neccesary, even for high-end commercial games, and if anyone tells you they do, they lieeeee ;)

But it could be your graphics card, im not leaning toward the game on this one, even if it was ineffecient at optimizing, it wouldn't single you out for crashing, unless your computer couldnt handle it.

Well, look at it this way, it's also beta in Korea, so we can't be sure it's not a dump error in the code. (This never happens to me on other games.)

Im going to switch up the logic here, inductive reasoning would have you be correct, i only have this problem here, so it must be the server/game

Instead, lets try deductive reasoning, and take away all of the alternatives

Leonkillz problem happens immediately, whereas youre takes time, you're problems are therefore different(doesnt mean they arent caused by the same thing)

I Do not experience this problem, Lanthas does not experience this problem, raventrigun, and copyrightz do not experience this problem

If this were a problem caused by the server, we would, in effect, all experience the problem.

By deducting away all other possible answers(barring everyone has it but decides not to report it) The community at large, does not have the same problem, and you're problem and the original posters vary.

Logic also states that it would have been brought up if this problem had existed in the korean version, especially since we have members here who play the korean version.

Therefore, the only solution that was on the table thats still left over, is client(you)-sided.

If you can offer up another explanation, then feel free to do so, but I believe i have ruled out all other explanations possible, given the reasons above.

Peace
