I could record in higher resolutions (and framerate) and export at a higher resolution, but I'll save bandwidth on my server and have a direct download.

Whatever you do, do NOT share this with anyone, as it violates the ToS as a Closed Beta Tester.
I assume no responsibility in the event that this is shared, and especially with a non-CBT user.

[Notice] June 05, 2007, 7:40am CDT - Please re-download the video; the previous video shown was a segment. (Export error).

Edit: For those of you wondering, these are decent specs for Drift City video capture.
I have:
70GB WD Raptor (10000 RPM HDD)
2GB RAM
ATI Radeon X1800XL with DirectX 9.0c

Terranwolf what did you use to record that?
I can never find a good recording program.
Thanks.

Guys, you're missing the point. Of course that's using the hand brake.

I'm talking about how long you drift, not how it drifts.
And I use FRAPS. Only 20 bucks and definitely worth it.

If you noticed, he did drift 360* (A complete circle). I don't think your supposed to be able to do that.

Yeah....you can around a couple times easy, without having to start driving in circles either.

But its also possible to do that with a real car.....so while i dont think thats a bug, i tend to be wrong fairly often :)

Peace

Yes, but it doesn't seem to be intended in the game to do circles.
If you hold down SHIFT too long when trying to do the glitch, the drift cancels like it is supposed to.
If you hold down SHIFT for the longest time, it only does the regular drift (270 degrees).

I just updated the front page because I realized what you guys saw. :sarcasm:
I jus uploaded the full version of the video.

Yeah, I'll upload the other drift glitch where you drift straight until you let go of SHIFT.

I'll kinda explain it.
If I remember correctly...
Hold LEFT. Then, let go of LEFT hold RIGHT as you press SHIFT.
Finally, just as you start into drift (getting the timing is a MUST), press and hold LEFT again.

Works the other way too (switch left with right).
You will slow down until you hit 58 or 59km/h and stay there, "drifting" straight, but your car will be leaning to the front left or front right.
Quite amusing.

I noticed the difference. It was significant.

20 dollars for software like that is not worth getting a cracked version. :\
All the software I have is the real deal, since I can afford, heh.
I thought CBT was age limited? You should have a job x_x'

Anywho, it's kinda tricky to do but once you get the timing down you can do it every time.
