The Download/Installation takes a while.

The "slowness" startes when the launcher pops up and says SkidRush and at the bottom it says (3/516) is this normal or expected

The download taking a while is a bug?

Its just the amount of information that has to be passed through to your computer.

The speed will vary depending on your internet connection and proximity to the download host.
