What do you think about the GunZ community as a whole?

We're on the high point right now. Complainers of styles and players better than them have died down becasue now they're busy complaining about hackers...or hacking them selves (to beat the players better than them).

But we're also on the low point because hackers count as part of the community. And there's a lot of them. And they aren't just hacking to get a few wins, they're hacking and knowningly ruining the game. Thankfully we have waryas on our side helping.

I just wish ijji would be working on this issue faster and/or publically announce it. Many people are losing faith in ijji, inluding me.

I go on ijji.com, and see how populated it is compared to the other topics, it's pretty crazy!

Well its really kinda hard to stop hackers. They modify the game memory and the only way for Ijji to get around it is to change the places where the current hackers modify to a different memory location. This only delays "new hacks" from being released for only a little while because hackers will eventually find out where the new memory location is and exploit it again. So unless Ijji can stop people from modifiying memory, it'll be pretty hard to stop hackers.

hackers are mean.. lagers can be mean.. and people in naked games that use clothes are mean. cheaters in atk and def mean..

It's hard to stop hackers, yes. But impossible, no.

Ijji has showed me little acknowledgement of the seriousness of this issue. Though it's impossible for them to not know about how many hackers plague their game, they don't seem to be very open about their knowledge of it. I realize they will never stop all of the hackers. But their current protection methods just aren't cutting it. I would at least like to hear from them that they really are making an honest effort to tackle the issue.

At least rumor is phun has retired. Though, it's not proven true(as far as I know), and nothing's stopping him from comming back later on.

I went with "4 - A pretty good community with only a few idiots and jerks to deal with." Moderating at GZF I do see a bit more of the bad side of the community, but overall it is good.

GZF community is pretty stable. But ingame is where the real community comes out. Hackers, whiners, complainers ect. They're in every game, but in this game they seem excessive.

I do enjoy the overall GZF community though. Hopefully ijji will give 100% just like the GZF mods do.

I choose 3. Almost every online gaming community has a few jerks here and there. Was gonna go with 2 because of all the leechers about lately. As long as everyone cooperates with kicking the leechers and hackers though, everyone runs pretty smooth. Then again, I usually only play Attack+Defense games. Deathmatches most of the time get too chaotic for me. What with a few people spamming, at least one hacker in every game, then theres the constant people accusing each other of talk kills and kill steals. The Duel matches are ok. But just too long of a wait to play for me.

wyrmy has a good point and the duel thing.. they should have like a kinda tournament thing like if there are 4 players one duel can go on and optional to have 1+2 fight and 3+4 fight and if 3 one can just watch

I say the only idiots there are are hackers. They always ruin the game and use that spam thing to annoy the hell out of people. I hate it. I only use anti-hack if that counts.

However, the "jerks" are not in the community, if you catch my drift.

It just seems for how many people that play Gunz, and how much money people are crapping out for prems, that Ijji would be moderating it a bit more.

I really don't have alot to say, because everyone really knows about it, but nothing is going to happan that'll seriously change things.

Thus. I rant, which is all anyone can really do.

We see what happands when somone takes it into their own hands, they simply get ignored by Ijji, while they are praised by the community.

All I have to say about this.

I remember early times on beta when hacking was stil very rare the ingame community was still abit lousy " lagger ************ger, spraya noob, bf noob etc.". These kiddies abusing other players never really bothered me too muh, but its these ***tard peaople using hacks that piss me off.

hmm loose faith in ijji because they arnt making better defence against hackers? As far as I know isnt Maiet Entertainment the developer of Gunz, and therefore responsible of providing a decent antihack system, not ijji the server host?
Anyways Im going to continue reporting every single hacker I meet ingame, no warning, no mercy, desperately hoping ijji will bann their disgraceful accounts for the benefit of the community....

Meh, there are a couple of people I could name that exceed normal online community intelligence, such as Seth Wynd and KingofKlash, there are the members that nobody really pays attention to, and then there are those that make me weep for humanity.
