How do you do this? I find I get killed a lot by people who do this. As it is hard to shoot back at them and is so quick... So can someone let me know how to do it.
Thanks

It's called a lag shot. When the person comes around the corner they usually lag and so they come out quickly and look like their sliding.
Sliding around corners? Sounds like you a combination of lag and the fact that they already know you are there.

Dont worry tho, you can learn to compensate for lag to an extent.
When you press TAB in-game, along with the scores, it also shows each player's individual Ping. Ping is the time it takes for any info your computer sends to the server and receive a reply. Ping is calculated in milliseconds. (1000 milliseconds is 1 second)
So, if a person has 100 ping, they will turn the corner 1/10th of a second before you see them. (100ms is what we consider an "okay" ping)
If a person has 200, that would be 1/5th of a second. This is where it starts becoming noticable. (150 and up is considered laggy)
If a person has 500 ping, it would be half a second... Or so you would think... 500 is the highest the ping counter can go... For all you know, a 500 ping'er could have 3000 ping... This is where it becomes unplayable. (especially in maps like shanghai)
"How does this help me!?!?"
Simple! Listen to footsteps (headphones help) and shoot a fraction of a second before you hear them turn the corner. You might waste a few bullets, but shooting them first means killing them sooner which means getting shot less.
This gets easier with practice.
EDIT: REALLY hope that helps your gaming... took me a good chunk of time to write.

Yes, but high ping doesnt always mean they will lag. But usualy it can be related :P

I have seen people with high ping that don't lag, but that's pretty rare. Usually if you see a high pinger with tons of kills, they're probably lag-killing. That doesn't happen too often though, not enough to mess up the gaming experience.

there is a big problem with lag. I find myself constantly getting shot after i am behind something.
or the worst part is shooting a lagger then they die 5 seconds later after they get time to kill me.
also my ping is around 70 to 90 at all times.

for this game soldiers front people that have high ping usualy dont la
300+ lag (sometimes not)
300 - = no lag most of the time so i agree with KaiYosu
sum of the lag like when u die after ur behind the wall comes from the game servers itself. If u look at ur ping and the persons ping that killed u and u find they are both low u wonder how u died. the game lags along with the ppl that play it so its just sumthing ur gonna hav to deal with

Ahh i dislike those people in-game high on their ego's blaming the other persons high ping on their death. Just 'cause they have a high ping and an ownage k/d doesn't always mean they got it purely through lag. It's a two way street with lag. :xd:
And about the sliding, definitely sounds like the product of some form of lag.
