controller style?

well i got a logitec gamepad and I can dash with analog so that kinda sucks but i've been using swords by doing this style:

jump + slash + guard

is this a style? or is this a new one, if it is, I call it c-style XD

lol i guess but i'm a console gamer so that's why i got a gamepad, it actually limits the gameplay but I get better handeling so i'm willing to sacrifice a few features for better handling
