View Full Version : Wiggling Lime PvP?

Okays.. I would like advice. Basically, the only thing I got going for slime would be to use this one good combo: A >>> KungKungi - Wiggling Jelly - Rolling rolling Thud. The downside is that not only is it mid-breakable before the roll, or even if you don't roll and go straight to the Kungi, you can walk out of it. Besides this combo, which rarely works, is there any other way to play a slime in pvp? I know you can use Wabang as well, but you can run away from it with the proper running mindgames.
Also, sometimes I use S when opponents follow me.. but it's not combo-able, and if I fail to read their run, I get combo'd after..
One more thing: Against Eirs, You can't ever get to them because they run away constantly. Dainns ranged skills and dragon ish deadly, and sieg's sword outranges lime. And Tias.. Quadruple Pwn Limes x77.

I think you're lagging or otherwise doing something wrong; I'm pretty sure roll Kung Kungi cannot be walked out of normally.
Kowabunga + roll + outmaneuvering other melee classes is the way to win. Make sure to use Sticky Jelly to limit the places they can go, and Freezing Lime Shung to make it easier to catch them. Against ranged classes, Lime is at an extreme disadvantage; all you can do is use your speed and be very, very good at dodging. To be honest, after all the Lime nerfs, he's probably the weakest PvP class by far, so if you want to be a serious PvPer as Lime, good luck.

When I said Walked out of, I meant the A to roll. The reason I dont do roll on it's own is because it's very easy to dodge, and the dash thinggy afterwards is very annoying as well. Also, I guess I have to go from my ps2 remote to the keyboard for more skills? (Because for some reason, the gamepad thing only reads 5 skills besides the d-pad and the main 4 buttons).
Also, Any advice for beating Tias?

Tias can be easily beaten with enough practice. just be careful, and you can also use your freezing lime shungs for a good combo starter as well. You can freeze them and if you can Drop a Wiggling Jelly at the right time, they'll run right at you (tias are usually the suckers for this, as are Dainns because they constantly run around the victim. If your close and you have your freezing lime shung up, run into them and look for an opening to lay down wiggling jelly)

Use it and dash cancel out of it, repeat.
I like to use either Wiggling after that, or infinite. Space AA Kungi Wiggling Sp AA Kungi Sp AA Kungi, Tong, Thud, Wiggling Sp AA Kungi etc etc etc.....
Only under VERY RARE conditions should you EVER start with roll.

Thanks for the advice. I made this thread at lvl 20 btw. >_> Lol. Anyways. For real, Thanks, I couldnt figure out how to get a combo on dainns because they're rod thinggy outranged my roll.
I'm not so sure about hibikisaph's advice though.. Because The good Tias and Dainns wouldn't get hit by the run and wiggling tactic, I've tried it. Also, Freezing isn't enough to beat a good Tia/Dainn, because they can really hurt you during the cooldown.. It's also pretty hard if they always use slide to start off their combos.

Yeah, we can. The only thing you can really do is press a upon landing to avoid it, even though it sometimes doesnt work. It'll never be fixed though, from what I've heard. It's also a problem with being stunned.. because it takes quite awhile to get out of. The only thing you can really do is just not get hit.

It should be treated just like any other infinite, and not used in PvP unless you're intentionally being an *******.

Lol. Well it is quite annoying to have to take quite a while to lower your opponent's hp to near death, while they can take all yours out in about 5 seconds.. >_>

It's not infinite down stun. >_> Press a skill as a lime to get up instantly.
It's your fault if you let them down infi you if you're not fast enough to react quick enough after the first down and use a skill.

Yes, thing is, most limes do this...
A Space run
A Space run
Until you fly up in the air, which allows for Wiggling Jelly + Rolling Thud.
Some also use A Space run and repeat for the Jelly + RRT.
They have trans + mp/hp pots. So, personally, I think their 1 second delay on not getting up from being knocked down with Space Attack spam is good.

Run away a lot and A+Sp spam like Arciph does, that's soooooo annoying. Limes like to be annoying right?
