Killing the Illusionary Beast in 4-10

As I have seen and also heard from a few friends, there are a few methods that make this MUCH easier.

Method #1

Tia + Midair Prison

Have a Tia, and Tia alone, dash in and use Midair Prison. Midair Prison will do 2k-2.5k EACH hit. Which basically kills the beast without any effort.

Method #2

Use transformation potions, preferably the ones that have knock back attacks. Use the trans and use any knockback attacks. They, on average, do 2k+ to the Illusionary Beast.

Method #3

This is an absolute last resort. When all else fails, you use this.

Do NOT use ANY skills. Have your entire team use melee on the Illusionary Beast until it gets against a wall/corner. And continue to melee it, again, without ANY skills being used. This way, it will not clone itself and create more pressure.


Without these methods, people usually lose 1-2 lives on the Beast...which is a lot...considering you still have the Turtles, the Sharks, and Tarask to kill.

it will still makes copies when you only use melee attacks. lrn2eyes. hell, it'll make copies if you DONT hit it.

just get some siegs 2 Dfist and New Dfist dem and some iron hammer. dey should die quick. also alot of spamming wrks.

Lime is the solution to illusionary beast! His lvl 30 transform, pang pang lime, does nice damage, and flinches the beast and his clones. You need to use his 'A' attack though.

Myth cloth does not work in stages. Some skills do 1000's of dmg like DFIST RB SHEET
What i do to kill the beast is to freeze him and spam strongest skills

HKD attacks work best against the clones.
Krieg, Dacy, and Kali all have these.
What you could do is, get a Krieg, Dacy, and Kali to HKD all the clones, while the rest of your party spams against the beast.
Krieg's dash kick thingy works.
Dacy's a s s works.
Kali's aas and her 60 trans aaa works.
There's prolly others that I forgot to mention. Teehee.

Always check the beast's level before it splits up, like in 4-10L it's lv is 70, always aim the beast who's level is 70, its another method to take it out quick without attacking the fake ones.

A Tia can basically kill the beast within 1 Hide duration if she has both Backstabs maxed with AEH boost, as long as the party members stay behind until it is dead.
Arien's Hide will also work, and her burst damage is enough to bring down the beast in 5 seconds.

Krieg's dropkick is not very reliable, but you can just transform and press A S and dash away [repeat] to hard knockdown the clones.

For Sieg, try to keep your eyes on the real one(the one with brighter name), wait till 3+ clones are on the beast, then use dfist to knock the clones into the real one and it will die instantly.

Note that this also apply to the beasts in Bonus 1-2 and 1-6.

Whoa that would work o.O all i knew (well thought i knew) about it was that when u use skills on it it Multplies, so u use Siegs Rage Xplosion+DFist and Flying Dragon Sword to Give Good Crit Dmg o.O ty tho

What I usually do when it comes to the illusionary beast is DDB > New FoL > Old FoL and your teammates should be spamming it too

i would be glad to help you on this stage......
just keep in mind illusionary beast requires u to hard knock down skills his clones to kill them faster.
and it keeps on making clones unlike u kill the main one.

For Kali: AeH swap, RoB, SoS, Ogrel, LoL, then laugh out loud at the dead Illusionary beast. If not dead yet keep spamming skills.....

I learned this from BreakDawn. You have to stay at the corner of the map (to the top right) and attacks its side.

That's odd I found the two giant turtles in the stage to be much harder than the beast, the sharks, or the boss... I usually lose at least one life on the turtle since it's just way too chaotic with the hundreds of tiny turtles and big turtles one-hit-KOing everyone with the fire bombs.

I pay no attention to what everyone is talking about, but it's easy to tell which illusionary beast is real, basicly by the lvl under the monster, if higher number (such as in legend, 70), then that should be the real one, i'm not sure about the lvl of real illusionary beast in History but i'm pretty sure it's 40 and the rest are like, 36 or sumthing.
