Since the last maintenance, upon entering the game me a long error. [-3190] Failed to update the game, if somebody help me to fix it would welcome ..

I sent area_001 to someone that asked me to do it before, but the person didnt give any feedback if that file solved his problem or not.

I dont have them on my pc, dont know why, but my soldier front works fine.

Please just ask for files that ijji downloader gets stuck in...

If you get an error asking for those files, then something is wrong with MY pc, because i dont get any errors o.O

Well, i know you probably have done it already, but:

Delete both menu_28 and that rar he starts to download (it probably disappears, but delete if it is there);

Get the menu_28 i sent you again from http://rapidshare.com/files/174604248/menu_028.sff ;

Go to the Control Panel and in Add/Remove Programs remove IJJI Auto Instaler (its only 14mb application, dont worry, isnt WHOLE sf file);

Just to make sure, restart pc at this point;

WELCOME BACK =D

Log in and press Play Live, let it install IJJI Auto Instaler again;

Try to play after.


Its a long shot, but it might also be your connection crashing down while downloading. Doubt it, but that "23 KB/sec" seems too low for what it normally is for me =|
i live in Portugal, you are closer to the server, and i get from 120 to 280 KB/sec on a perfectly normal net connection.

Try to search other threads about the same issue.

Contact the helpdesk and send them info on your problem, as detailed as possible.

Dont despair, all problems have a solution, just might take a while, but what doesnt kill you makes you stronger :P

Wish i could help you more than i am, but i dont have that problem, so its hard for me to know how to solve it exactly.

They will eventually give you a more secure aproach on your problem. Might take a bit to get answer tough =|

Not yet but I did not post this so that everyone can help me a bit, but if you do not fix that problem is not going to make me apart from losing my vacasiones without playing sf nose but that it could get worse
This problem is not with me to my only happens to a lot more people and this Starting from the new actualition sure there a mistake

This is only one of lots of problems that can occur when playing a always in development game...

People are used to games they buy wich have been tested loads of times and sometimes still have glitches and bugs in them, despite being sold on a cd or dvd.

Just as long a people get this in mind and also the fact that there are professionals on IJJI that spend their whole days trying to solve these bugs, everything will eventually come to normal. I know its frustrating, as i also have a problem in sf, as you know.

Please get in touch with the helpdesk, and, even more important, ask a GM for help if you cant find a solution here in the forum...

I know how to fix, you turn off conplettely your antivirus software,if you can't , you should uninstall the antivirus, after you have finished your update, you can reinstall again.Enjoy!

and for that gameguard error u can google gameguard 114 and it'll bring u to its website's FAQs

Ok for the menu_028.sff or any .sff where your update fails simply download the file once downloaded extract to c:/ijji/data/whatever the file u need is ie menu so it would b /menu etc. then rename file to somethin other then wat it is already named so if its menu_028.sff change it to somthing like whatever.sff. Update and see if it works.

This is an extremely bad idea. Many programs rely on the "localhost" DNS resolution and you may develop further problems. Whatever you did to fix this error, it was certainly not this.

okay, let me explain my entire situation...
i was playing fine for a while, then i didnt play for about 2 days since i was grounded...
when i came back in 2 days, i went to play like normal and when i clicked the play live button, the PLauncher opened, and within a milisecond (it didnt begin to load) a box came up that said
"[-3190] Failed to download the game information files."

i got fed up with trying to work soldier front so i decided to play combat arms... big surprise... when i open up combat arms the same thing happens, but it says "cannot connect to the server. Please try again or visit http://combatarms.nexon.net
Error code= -2, 10061

then i tried maplestory not even that works! so PLEASE help me or i will not be able to play a game on this computer again.. =(

check for any blank files EDIT: if there are any blank files DELETE THEM D/W THEYLL GET DOWNLADED... i had 1 little blank file and it stopped me from downloding lobbydata53.mrg
also try not to clean ur PREFETCH folder as in it wil be things essential for the lanucher to download files.if u must dont delete anything thats gotta do with sfront. this happened to me and i restored everything in prefetch and it worked:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Ok this is Deja Vu i got this error 3 times and did nothing to my computer, than the 4th time i tried to download the game it worked. I think this error is a matter of a file failing to download. I guess there could be muiltiple problems, but I guess it just has to be your computer.

i had thsi probelm so many times before. im on fixing it. ill try and report in when im done. soemtimes it is because teh set up isnt rite. so i try and use torrent instead. i fixed thsi before for more then once. lol hopefully i can do it again :)
