Your virus protecter is too powerful, it's not meant for gaming. It spots potential viruses/worms, even when they are not truely a virus/worm. GameGuard does not have any viruses.

What AV are you using. Because most AVs nowadays just put in random sh!t to make it look like it is doing something, when in actuallity it sucks.

I used Norton Internet Security 2007 and did a custom scan on those two files - No risk was found. Why would ijji put a trojan horse in Game Guard when it's supposed to block hacks? It wouldn't make sence if they did. GameGuard doesn't have a virus.

I spent more time trying to figure out why your signature is so special than I did reading anything here.

It's a false positive.
AVG marks gameguard because gameguard downloads and uploads files without your knowledge, which is the chief characteristic of a trojan.
Read the above quote.
Gameguard does not have trojans.

it is possible it isnt harmful.. but when my computer catchs something, kinda freaks me out ya know.. but ever since i deleted those files, realized my game wont start now. so i uninstalled all ijji files reinstalled it and now everything is all lagged out like i do have a trojan on my computer and something is readin my pc. i have a very good pc and excellent internet connection.. so this has never happened before. any comments??

I had this to with avg free edition but it siad it had deleted the file then i scanned back and it said no virus so file were definitly not thgere anymore but when i started gunz everything wroked so I dont care since that :p
Although it is a false positive, deleting the file shouldn't matter because the ijji installer would replace it again.
One way to reinstall GameGuard is to just delete the folder and start the game isn't it? I'm sure I read that somewhere.
