Every game on the web lets you blow people up with guns, granted the flipping and sliding on this game is faintly different but still, the gun gameplay is the same. This game has the funnest Sword dueling matches i've played in years, yet most people wanna still use guns, i don't understand this? the Gladiator mode is awesome and most likely will keep me on here for a very long time. What is everyones point of view on this.

Maiet has done a very good job of balancing swords with guns but the simple fact remains that most gamers are used to using Guns in games.

plus gunz r liek PEW PEW PEW! and swordz r liek SHING SHING SHING! and the pew's r liek bullets dat goes through you and does liek a biggilion damage if its a shot gun and the shing shings are like swords that liek slice frough your bodie

It's even simpler than that.
You get more XP from the DM games than you do the Gladiator games. People want the bounty, and they wanna level faster.

People that want to get better at this game usually play sword games too, but you wouldn't know about that, considering how big of noob you are.

Actually he's wrong on the swords part too. I prefer glad matches, and assuming he bothers to read before he goes off on one of the usual wankfests, he'd have already noticed I said that I'm better with swords than guns.
So no, he's wrong on both counts :)
Also, for someone with as lousy a kill/death ratio as Money's, he should really use "noob" a bit more sparingly >_> ...

No matter how much of a Musashi you are, someone pulls out a gun, and you are freakin dead. If you're awesome with the sword, it just takes longer for you to die.
That said, using swords is much more interesting.

The argument for levelling may be true i haven't played enough actual gun matches to determine the difference, but the fun and skill involved in gladiator matches makes the game WORTH playing in my opinion, nothing beats a good sword fight, some i've had last over five minutes, it's true skill instead of just pointing a gun.

no 1 said you HAVE to use guns all the time, you can always try to kill soem 1 with your sword only even if hes using guns.
