Dear Gunbound Members,
Please take a quick moment to review the following clarification pertaining to the Gunbound avatar item reimbursement and gender changes. We outlined the details of this reimbursement process on January 29, 2007. As to avoid possible confusion, we thought it appropriate to further outline what process is to be followed for items which were “gifted” prior to transferring to the ijji.com Gunbound: Revolution Service.
In an effort to ensure a fair reimbursement solution we must also take into account the way in which an avatar item was acquired. If an item was acquired through gifting, the most appropriate form of reimbursement would be to remove the incorrect item (belonging to an avatar of the opposite gender) and simply replace it with the correct item.
The users who fit the above criteria will have their gifted item returned to them with the correct gender. However, if this process isn’t possible (due to an item not having an opposite gender equivalent) we will reimburse the item with the currency used to originally purchase it.
Example: If an item was originally purchased with “gold” and does not have an equivalent item of the opposite gender available for trade, the item’s value would be reimbursed in the form of “gold”.
This form of reimbursement will preserve the spirit of the gifting process and allow those “gifts” to keep on giving.
