I finally got one of my characters on the expert channels, and I totally stink again! A lot of high level players around here and they all seem to got those k-style moves down... And these guys aren't like the k-stylers i've play with on the veteran server... These guys are crazy good! It kinda makes me feel bad that I can't really do any of those moves. :confused2:

It looks like I gotta adapt or die, now. ;)

I found the complete opposite actually.

Expert players are so use to playing with all the flashy move players they forget how to fight against basic stuff.

Try toning down your moves (if they aren't already, I don't know your skill level) it works wonders.

THe best thing is when you dash left and right and they cannot hit you.

They're so use to people moving in the bug move patters (jumping and dashing in 1 or 2 directions) they forget how to aim at somebody who just stops and shoots with out moving (very good at throwing any player off).

I love expert channel, people think they're so good yet they have trouble fighting the most basic moves. But that's not to say don't ever use the fancy moves.

Actually... You know what... You're right!

Try it, join a town tdm (where the good players tend to go) and just dash left and right. 9/10 people will get frustrated trying to hit you and resort to butterfly. Which you counter with a pb. Then you /dance on their corpse to make them more mad.

Oh yeah... I just that playing yesterday after my game with MONEY (you know, that guy that posts on these forums with a lot of arrogant posts...)

When I joined, it was 16 player DM on the town map, like you said. I was jumping/dash around, avoiding most of the k-stylers shotgun shots. Then I killed those players, they came after me every time they spotted me... Chasing me down like they got something to prove. And when those players killed me, they took a moment to either laugh, cry, or dance.

Really, many of the players on expert become slightly full of themselves becuase of thier high levels and seemingly complicated moves. In reality, basics are all you need to take them down (dodge and aim). I much prefer the free channels because its more varied and amusing =]

You start over again and get more training with other people who want to get better by making new characters?
*sounds good in theory =P*

One of the things I've found that frustrates the high-level K-stylers is to do something incredibly simple to counter them, depending on just how they're using K-style.

If they're doing nothing but circle in the same direction, and slowly inch closer, I'll go ahead and predict where they'll next be, dash over, and take a swing with the sword. 9 times out of 10, they can't stop or block in time, and take the hit (and usually the one or two that follow).

If they're the sort that do nothing but move in a straight line back and forth, I'll just stand and wait for 'em. Then guess about how long the delay caused by their ping is, time the swing accordingly, and then swing just before they get to me. Again, 9 times out of 10, they walk right into it and take the damage.

Pisses 'em off like you wouldn't believe >_>

Why would I go out of my way to find out anything about you that isn't shown on the rankings board? The sanitation department takes my trash to the landfill once a week, and that's all I need to know. Why should I make an exception for another type of trash, just because it has internet access?

Is it at all possible for you to post without jerking off your ego? Or to sound like anything other than a broken record? Or do you need your sock-puppet account for that?

Actually, I'm a pretty experiences K-styler, and when people do that, I fight fire with fire. I stop, and RS my Shotgun and Rev.. Way easier =]
