Lag Problems

Yea as title says.


For some reason,i lag with my broadband connection..i have everything closed,all my options in game at low and at 16bit..and i lag ridiculously high,even reached a ping of 28k! Can anyone gimme idea's on what is causing this and what can i do to fix this.

well finest. tell me what internet it is.. is it from dell, shaw, or telus, or rogers. ext. is it wired ethernet or wirless .. does it have a router. or just a modem? what speed of internet do you have?

I lag too. Sometimes it goes from 79-21k. I use a wireless modem from dell. Im not sure where to find the speed though. and i thought i was the only one with lag problems.....

well my internet is from Verizon ,speed says 100Mbps..just a Modem,Broadband internet.I dont know what can be the problem.

cause im on wireless and used to have the same problem

I'm not on Wireless internet -.-, I'm on a Verizon broadband connection that is Directly connected to my computer and I'm getting20k+ ping... Everything on my computer is closed and i still get this lag.i have no idea on how to fix this,and it's messing with my gaming experience!
