New style (And a warning to prevent it)

This style does not encompass any form of ingame attacks or defending strategies. This is somthing I like to call Ego-Style. You know you are an Ego-Styler when you simply cannot acept the fact that you were beaten by someone who used a different weapon or tactic. Then you began to flame at them constantly using swear words and other forms of profanity to try and bring the person into a rage. However this does not occur and then you begin to burn into nothing. You then either get so mad you go from Ego to Emo or you rip the phone cord out of the wall or smash your modem or both. You know then you are indeed part of the growing style called Ego-Style.

Common side affects may include but not limited to stomach pains, throat pains, exceesive screaming, total lack of coutesy and respect, constant whining outside of the game, loss of game form reality, getting grounded for your parents hearing you use profanity, destroyed computer, and some bleeding can occur. If you find yourself bleeding particularly on the wrist from a knife you should check with your doctor as this may be a case of a common and serious side affect.

Let's look at an example. (based on a true story)

Say I was in quest 2 elite channel 1 room 003 and I have a Lost Shrine Deathmatch going. Generally I use an AR with either Avenger SG or Revs of my level. Along with 4 grenades and 100hp/ap. This gives me the all around defense and offense I need. Well someone joins and begins to constantly lunge with the Dagger (not all dagger wielders are dagger noobs though but seriously...he just spammed it) Well it being Lost Shrine it doesn't take long before he begins running down the straightaway. What better time is it than to use the AR for a simple but higly skilled kill and he tries to make it across the walkway with his dagger. I missmabye 2 or 3 shots but in all they all he dies and his ego is shattered (Fantastic Excellent Headshot!) If the person is using Ego-Style you will hear many of the following phrases.


OMG SPRAYER NOOB
(2censored words) LIKE YOU DESERVE TO DIE!!!!!
SPRAY MORE NOOB
(some macro I will NOT repeat)
/votekick (your name here)

There are many others which due to extreme vulgar and graphic content will not be said on the forums. Many other things other than good aim will be targetted such as:

Lagg (at under 50 ping o.0)
Hacking (even though you might die eventually)
Cable Pulling (even though HE is the one who came out of nowhere)
Bad connection (Um this might go with lagg but I somehow doubt it)

These players may either explode and go AFK to cut themselves (easy EXP) or they will leave. Either way when they see that thier score is somewhere near 2K-20D they will realize their aparent lack of skill. Though they decieve themselves by saying it's not them, the person who killed them is just being a noob and has no right to play the game.

The best response you could make is to exploit the Ego-Stylers largest weakness: Staying Calm!

Staying Calm is by far the best anti-ego there is out there. Though when you have him it's okay to rub it in his face so badly you leave tissue scars. These people will easily turn emo and begin to do everything short of collapsing on the floor because they realize that yes, They just died, they just flamed you, and you didn't care.

To prevent become an Ego-styler we recomend the following.

Please remembr that it IS a game.
This game does not affect your life in any way unless you let it.
Someone will beat you eventually so don't expect to walk away with 50K-0D
You have a life, it's waiting for you.
If you become angry, just take a deep breath.

I know I am not the only Christian out there who reads the forums so for other christians I will post somthing to help them even further (and mabye help others a lot too)

As for an answer (if you really wanted one) This may apply mainly to K-stylers but I am also very close friends with some K-stylers who follow my view. Also there are some outside of K-stylers who act the same way.

in The Nest, i LOVE putting down suppressing fire at flag 4 from flag 3 (american's first flag), and i get like 20 points if i do it after the first 5 min but before 10


what i hate the most is people in Backstab who drop people onto flag 4 wit the heli, then spam the door out to the flag wit the rockets, it annoys me so much, so i just sniper the pilot out of the heli, it falls and blows up the people, or if it doesnt, then atleast it blows up the spammed C4 on the door


i hate the people who stay in the same spot and snipe the whole game, sometimes ill stay the whole game at flag 6 keeping an eye on the rocks out by flag 2 to watch for snipers, who can get a shot at flag 6,5,4,3, AND 2

Yea K-Sers are annoying, since the only move they know is BF, but when you kill them, they're like

"Omg, n00b (goes into profanity fit)" <= chances are they were smashing the key bored to stay BF

I have met some good ones though. It's not just K-Sers (If you haven noticed, K-Ser means K-Stylers, since KSing in this game doesnt really matter since it's mostly chaos when fighting) it's people who get a good round going, but when they die they go into a furry of rage and go only for you, just to die again though.

yeah, i like k-style, but n-style (noob style) will pwn anyone...now, this new style has been lost for many years, but im here to bring it back. ok its a little complicated, but stay with me. first, relaceing the wall cancel, hang instead, and press the space bar to jump up <repeat> next, tumble then shoot <repeat> this may seem hard, but once you master it you can kill people that abuse bf by using a mouse rebinder easily (im serious...killed a lvl 51 when tumbling)

someone may wonder why im even talking about this...the reason is... because im constantly bored...and i can do INSANE things when im bored...things that would make your ears bleed from the outside

i can tend to get annoyed at laggers,N-steppers, people who say "owned alot" >_>, people who turtle/spam dagger right click... and general ill mannered people.

im not to bother about the weps they use.... as long as they dont go over board with spray.... and when i say overboard, i mean still shooting even though there is no-one to be seen or they are running away and shooting at nothing :/

i dont see how a game can make you cut yourself though.. unless ofcourse you are mentally ill and dont understand the fact that it is a game.
