Gunbound Feature Idea...

I have an idea that will help stop aimbotters. What if there was a feature where you can request a screenshot of ANOTHER player's screen. A user can request 1 screenshot per game as to prevent lag.

Example #1:
Player is never missing a shot, I click a button and it shows a screenshot of what he sees. If you see an aimbot on the screen, report it to ijji.

Example #2:
Player is never missing, click a button, poof it shows he really is pro and doesn't aimbot.

Problems with my idea:
1. It may be very slow for 56k modem users.
2. It *could* slow down connection some, but there are many ways you could fix this.
3. Aimbots would be made so that you can hide them from the screen to prevent the other users from finding it. (but eventually they will probably be caught by someone)

Also, to prevent users from doctoring a screenshot, include a WATERMARK on every single one. That way it is impossible to edit without disturbing the "seal" of the screenshot.

That's probably that's why the feature won't be made.

I think, the windowed function should be made. Hackers will make their screens windowed even if they want.

Uhm. Lol. Not really sure how I should reply to that.

Well, maybe they can blur out the chat? I mean, all they'd have to do is apply a filter to the capture process. I mean, I know the odds are VERY slim this would ever become a feature, however, I think it would get the job done.

I like the idea, but there will be far too many factors to take into account, and it will probably be rather difficult to implement. However its nice to see someone taking a stand and using some brain power to try to help stamp out a rampant problem.

isnt an aimbot a totally seperate window on top of gb?

i doubt that would help out, alsooooo what would keep them from seeing my angle/power... i mean if ur in the same spot with same bot he could work off ur shot giving an advantage to the 2nd person to shoot

ps: send your ideas to softnyx, they're the ones who would change GB, not the players or ijji
