If you lag, i know a way to get rid of it. Worked for me..well just delete xfire. Even if you dont use it during game, just delete it, it lags you. Because before i had it installed and lagged bad, slow jumping, walking, shooting and typing. Now after i uninstalled it, i dont lag. Just uninstall it...might work, worked for me...........

So I dropped a dime and bought a 3.2 ghz dual core, nvidia motherboard, 3 gig ram, 200gb sata hd...

Nothing lags my computer. I can run limewire(limited to 75kb/s downloads) xfire ventrillo and train 8v8

However, if my brother is running his ***g limewire in the next room at max speed I'll get 500 ping and have to go kick his ###s lolz

I can't stand high ping anymore.
It's so annoying that ping limiter being said is becoming a happy thought to me.
I was on team today against 3 kids with weird names (amish and ahmed was two of them) I shot one of them with FrF2, his body was laying on the ground, then as i ran by i started being sprayed by an Ak-74, died and it said he killed me.
I called him a lagger and he said i'll report you, one less american in these games Yes !

I'm a lagger with my 170-200 ping! :lolz: All because I live far away from server. I even got called "aussie" today (I don't live in Australia) and kicked 'cos host was racist against foreigners in SF. Actually, with my ping I do lag in a way where I sometimes got killed when I'm already behind cover. If someone shoots me I don't tank shots (like take more than 2 hits to die with sniper) and I don't kill ppl with my lag. But low pingers will always complain to us that we lag when we kill them. Bad losers I say. And I've seen many who have low ping most of the time, then their ping spikes and they lag way more than I do. And some low pings (like 10 to 100) lag hard when they have bad pc, wireless or otherwise bad connection.

Here's a promise. As soon there's European SF, you won't see me here ever again.

You know, I have an acc in Hangame Japan (I registered before IP-Block) And I got 200-300 Ping regularly. And the game ran smooth. I'm japanese, and I understood noone was complaining about my little lag.

Your not talking about lag my friend. Im afraid you have been hit by the low fps. Usualy when your fps drops deleting anything will help it. Dunno why but you should reinstal Xfire(only if ur gona use it, it is kinda a waist of space.) Next time simply Delete your browsing history and restart comp. Will help it.

To me Soldier Front is a awesome game that i wont ever let go. everyday I spend 3 to 5 hours playing SF, Sometimes more, i bought gcoins b4 and still do.

But it hurts so much having to log in, and having to deal with players that have 200 ping 300 ping even 500 ping. and you look at it ur like thats fine ill make to the server b4 him. i got a awesome 16, 68, 94 ping =]! ur right but at the same time ur wrong. bcuz he will also be late to ur screen and b4 he turn that corner u will be dead on the ground without a chance to even fight back.

You know why bcuz theres 1 server in cali. and there are over 10,000 players playing daily all over the world.

Even freaking asians are playing. asians that live in asia. u have ksf and jsf right next to you. why come here with ur 250 ping?

Maybe they have a good excuse,
Maybe GM's have a good excuse why they havent done something about it,
Maybe everything im saying is wrong,
Maybe theres more to it than what i know.

I do know many ppl that quit cuz the lag and the ping / server problems.
They live in the U.S.

I do realize that daily there are more ppl playing with higher pings. Trust me i know all i do is play soldier front, its spring brake and i havent gone out once i wake up soldier front 9 pm at night gym 11 pm sleep, next morning 6 am on the computer clicking on PLAY LIVE.

Soldier Front ur losing important players, if american players arent important, then why is the server is the U.S, this game is made for american players, not the world ...

I know that most ppl only look at forums to know any new updates, or problems, and GMs might not look at them either. but im still trying to speak out for myself and my fellow americans living in US that also love this game, and let GMs know that this problems is not just hurting our gameplay, but our hearts as well. we love this game. but we also love ourselves to much to keep playing. to even keep trying to play with so many problems going on.

GMs its ur choice. its in ur hands. its up to you to make the change. but time is running out. and you never know how long we will take this punishment.

PS- im not trying to tell GMs what to do or trying to make anoyone outside the US feel unwanted or hated,
i just want GMs to make it equal for all Soldier Front Players.

I'm an American, I live in the west coast supposedly near the server, and... I lag.

I suggested on another post we have connection and regional based rooms so the people who can afford $50 a month on internet connection can play with each other and the rest of us don't have to listen to them whine about our ping. I also disagree that the lagger has the advantage and gets the info first and will be able to kill you first, that's backward.

Short of changing the way peoples game connects to the way CS does it, just make high speed only rooms, this is the best and cheapest solution IMO.

Hello, from New Zealand lawl <<< i think there should be servers for different pingers 100-150 server 0-100 ping basically just going up in 50s cause average pings average at about 50 ping changes for some players. I want SF to be equal as well (I'm "lagger" with 172-220 ping), so get better servers like KSF, there they all have low pings. Ijji just seems to be a company which doesn't care about their customers as long as they make money. Customers = we players are not satisfied to the current situation,

Btw. this SF version is international although servers are in California. There is no players from the countries which have their own version of SF, is there?

everyone i talk to has recently got higher pings than normal?.. anyone have a reason for it? o.O

Well the reason is that Soldier Front shots don't register in the server
that leads to lag kills and you're ping has to do with your isp
